Have I completely missed an episode or not been paying close attention at some point - what's this current Billy storyline all about? I wasn't following it at all...

Basically he got in touch with the child molester who worked at their care home to try and track down what happened to he and Julie's son when Julie gave him up.

 

Ace episode. That really bizarre section in the middle where Michael chased Ronnie through the Square and tried to kiss her again in front of the Vic was FANTASTIC.

I'm also on Team Poppy! And I'd never noticed how similar they looked before, she's obviously had a make-over since her original stint, and hopefully she's back for good.

 

Also, Jark, I found that scene/s rather gripping too, the actor who plays Michael has improved a lot recently, and he's definitely one of the strongest male characters at the moment - just a shame he's bringing on R Ron's downfall. :(

I like Poppy. I love the chemistry between her and Jodie. As well as her continuous references to films or celebrities she seems to do.

Ronnie's fate:

she's sentenced to 3 years in prison. Also Kat 'forgives' her in Thursday's double ep.

Love the scene with Ronnie and Michael

 

Rita simmons proved tonight that she is a pretty wooden actress. When she tries to show emotion, she fails miserable.

Rita wasn't on form tonight but she was really good particularly around the time of Archie's manipulations and in the live episode. She's hit and miss though.

The dramatic Ronnie/Michael scenes this week have been fantastic! I usually hate watching trials etc. in soaps as I never find them that interesting...actually quite excited to see how this'll all go though.

 

I'm liking the lack of the Masoods this week so far too. Maaan they were p***ing me off.

I have no idea why people don't like Michael. He is an AMAZING character and literally steals every scene he's in.

I dont know what it is about michael i just find i dont believe his story, by that i mean when watching him i know its acting, where with other charactors like kat, ronnie, jean etc when i watch i almost think whats happening is real.

Shane Richie is also doing panto later this year whilst simaltaneously on EE

so who knows! Naturally it would be amazing. Although,

I'm not really sure where she'd fit in nowadays? I can see her being put with Michael tbph.

 

I liked Sharon most when she was paired with Phil and I think on the one hand they'd be really good for each other but they'd have to start writing Phil's character as more human again instead of this panto thug he's become now. Or alternatively they could bring in a new alpha male with Sharon. Or pair her with Ian!!! I think I'd like that haha. I did say a while back she should pair up with Max but obviously that won't happen now a Tanya reunion is on the cards.
