July 16, 201113 yr Idina  It was so unrealistic that her and Beth weren't so much as mentioned last season!
July 17, 201113 yr I wonder if they are ever gonna have the planned Anne Hathaway character or Javier Bardem who was suppose to play a love interest for Sue.
July 24, 201113 yr Spoilers coming direct from Comic Con (@GLEEonFOX): Brad Falchuck - "Cory, Lea & Chris (characters) are graduating but b/c they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show" "Mercedes will have a new boyfriend she met over the summer in new season.."- Brad Falchuck - Samcedes, shortest pairing ever? Coach Bieste will be back in upcoming season! We'll meet Harry's parents in the upcoming season of #Glee They're good, they're solid... they're two stars so there will be problems, but they're not breaking up. -- Brad on Klaine Chord Overstreet declined offer to come back to the show. So Sam's gone. -- Brad Falchuk (But Mercedes is getting another BF!) - Say what?! :o Spin-off with with Kurt and Rachel? The EPs thought about it but they're "leaning against doing it," sez Falchuk//Brad Falchuk says they are leaning against a spin off with Rachel and Kurt but FOX DID okay one. Brad Falchuk says that Brittany/Santana storyline started as a joke, then became something much deeper. Is Blaine joining New Directions? EPs say "Tune in!" ..on finally meeting Rachel’s dads: “I think soon we’ll reveal more and more.” Ian Brennan “The stories that are coming out are gonna knock your socks off. It’s gonna be the most extraordinary season.” – Dante di Loreto Ian Brennan (about Naya and Heather): "We had two incredible talents on our hands that we didn't realize... Coach Sue is running for Congress. "She doesn't just wanna end the glee club. She wants to end all glee clubs," sez Ian//She's running on a No Arts platform," Brad sez of Coach Sue's bid for Congress Santana is a lesbian and Brittany is just into anything? “Pretty much.” – Brad Falchuck Tribute episode will happen during second half of the season “Here’s the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn]are seniors, so they’re graduating,” Falchuk explained, “but because they’re graduating doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t say, ‘We’re gonna let you go.’” Plus, he noted, “A number of the original [cast members' characters] are not graduating this year.” Falchuk reiterated, “It was never our plan or our intention to let them go…. They are not done with the show after this season.” The other, less positive piece of news coming out of the session — which was moderated by TVLine Editor-in-Chief Michael Ausiello — is that Chord Overstreet will not be back this fall — at all. According to Falchuk, Overstreet was offered a deal to return for 10 episodes with an eye towards becoming a series regular at midseason, but the 22-year-old actor declined. Source But this is silly, they showed them starting a relationship in the finale, now Chord isn't returning AT ALL so it's gonna be an off-screen break-up? -_- Also read that Shelby is back in episode 2 Edited July 24, 201113 yr by Jáhq
July 24, 201113 yr Author More information on the situation with Chord: The other, less positive piece of news coming out of the session — which was moderated by TVLine Editor-in-Chief Michael Ausiello — is that Chord Overstreet will not be back this fall — at all. According to Falchuk, Overstreet was offered a deal to return for 10 episodes with an eye towards becoming a series regular at midseason, but the 22-year-old actor declined. Falchuck explained that Harry Shum Jr. (aka Mike) and Darren Criss (Blaine) successfully parlayed guest-starring turns into full-time promotions, and hoped to accomplish same for Overstreet. To that end, he said, “We did invite [Chord]back for a portion of the season … to see if being a regular was a possibility. But he declined the offer, which we were really disappointed by.” Added Falchuk, “We wanted him back because we like Chord personally and had some good stories planned for him and with Mercedes. He decided he would have opportunities elsewhere that he would like to pursue, and we can’t force him to work, so we wished him well.”
July 24, 201113 yr Meh about Sam. (Hopefully they've found a stronger male lead...) but Lea not necessarily being released?! OH MY!
July 24, 201113 yr Sam was quite a pointless addition to be fair, the whole of season 2 just felt rushed and cack. Won't be hard to out-do it with season 3 ^_^
July 24, 201113 yr Yay Lea might be staying! ^_^ Eugh @ Coach Beiste though, she's sooooooooo overrated!
July 25, 201113 yr I can imagine Chord's departure sorta miffed the writers. His romance with Mercedes was clearly gonna be an arc for next season and it was established so clearly in the finale. I am glad Bieste is back. She just disappeared with no mention in the last 8 or so episodes. Edited July 25, 201113 yr by David John
July 28, 201113 yr I care most about the fact that Quinn isn't going to be a senior this year. HELL THE FUCK YES.
August 4, 201113 yr Glee will add two new "mean girls" to its cast for the upcoming third season, it has been revealed. The Fox musical series will welcome the controversial characters - named Sugar and Sheila - to McKinley High's already established cast this fall, reports TV Line. Sheila has been described as "affluent, self-confident and a godawful singer", while Sugar will represent a "modern-day Joan Jett" and will have a bad-girl edge to her with a lot of tattoos and her own clique of friends. Glee execs are also said to be looking to cast the role of Bubba, a linebacker who begins dating Mercedes (Amber Riley) during the summer break. Arts-hating geometry teacher Nancy Bletheim will also join the cast, with actresses aged over 60 currently being considered for the part. Glee recently expanded to the big screen with Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, which opens in US cinemas on August 12 and August 19 in the UK. Sounds great! ^_^ Can't wait to see Sheila and Sugar!
August 8, 201113 yr Filming starting up again today :D Lea has confirmed that she is recording three songs today. Amber & Cory also seem to be doing some recording today. [08/08] Jenna's first day back on set is today. [09/08] Edited August 9, 201113 yr by Jáhq
August 10, 201113 yr Quinn gets back in touch with her inner bad girl when Season 3 starts several castmembers will be taking a crash course in tap-dancing in preparation for the Sept. 20 season opener. Source Tap-dancing? Don't really know what to think of that. The bit about Quinn sounds great though.
August 10, 201113 yr Nothing is more boring than tap-dancing  Not sure what to think of nasty Quinn either I like her being nice :(
August 11, 201113 yr Casting news! http://cdn.buzznet.com/media-cdn/jj1/headlines/2011/08/vanessa-lengies-lamarcus-tinker-glees-newest-cast-members.jpg Vanessa Lengies will be playing Sugar, with LaMarcus Tinker cast as Mercedes' new boyfriend. Will wait to see them in action, but Vanessa looks stunning  http://www-tvline-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/VLengies_300110810191104.jpg Source 1 Source 2 Having only spied the premiere script, Morris doesn’t have much intel to share about Season 3, other than “Brittany wants Artie back” — which she sees as a good thing, since “everybody really wants them together.” Well, everybody “except Santana,” she points out. “But Brittany is real, so she’ll do what she wants to do.” Does that mean “Brittana” is finito for, like, forever? “Probably,” Morris reckons. “The writers may play with it a little bit more – but maybe not.” Regardless, the bi-curious/lesbian storyline did some good while it lasted. “Before the tour, I met some girls who told me how appreciative they were, because they were going through that themselves,” Morris shares. “It was nice to hear that we did something for them.” Chord Overstreet & then this :( The writers better do a good job anyway, because I'm not happy with that news. August 11, 201113 yr Mercedes' boyfriend looks like 40 in that pic  Liking the look of Sugar though! Oh, and I read that two upcoming songs are Parachute by Cheryl Cole and Grenade by Bruno Mars, it was only on Glee Wiki but they've been first past the post for many song spoilers before so they could well be true. If so, Santana, Rachel or Quinn for Parachute and Finn for Grenade please!
August 11, 201113 yr I heard about 'Parachute', but that was at a time when Cheryl looked like she'd be doing TXF, so I'm not so sure about if they'll still do it. Not heard about Grenade though. They could do a good job on it, and Bruno does seem to be another artist they're very fond of (along with the likes of Journey, Lady GaGa & Katy Perry).
August 11, 201113 yr Thank God they're not going any further with Brittanna! I think that would have been a wreck had they got them together. Artittany is better
