I'm not sure about number 1, as said, album tracks do tend to peak around the end of the week and Monday releases always have a disadvantage, I think she could definitely debut in the top 5 though (which would save this era at least :P )

 

 

I'm 90% certain BTINH won't get #1 this week. It might get there on iTunes but Monday releases are ridiculously disadvantaged so around #3 is probably the best she can hope for officially, this week at least. (I'm giving it a 10% possibility of being #1 because if it gets there on iTunes with an absolutely enormous lead it could just go #1 officially, but I can't see that happening)

I wouldn't say it's a dead cert at all. Again, considering that it's essentially a Monday release as its Sunday sales were completely negligible, that's a massive disadvantage for it. Plus it'll be falling again by the end of the week as Glasto is literally its only promotion. There have been quite a few Glee songs that did similar (but with just one version and around the high 20s) which failed to go top 40.

 

I'm not saying it definitely won't be top 40 though. It certainly has a chance. I'd like it to be top 40 for reasons I stated earlier.

 

Hopefully Coldplay's In My Place can be top 40 in at least the first mids. And they should hopefully have at least 6 songs top 100 this week (maybe 7 if Clocks holds up) :D

So Beyonce could well take advantage of an otherwise quiet week and bag herself a #1 with 'Best That I Never Had'. It's far superior to the dreadful noisefest that is 'Run The World (Girls)' so deserves to be the far bigger single.

I don't think it's hit music channels yet. I t was supposed to be on 4music this morning as 'Britney Spears: Brand New Video' but it wasn't on, instead showing the Wanted. So I'm still in hope it will reach the top 40 once it has hit music channels - hopefully it will manage a Till The World Ends-like chart run which wasn't too bad in the end :)
