'When The Sky Falls' is great  IIRC it went top 200 on iTunes which is pretty good considering neither Bashy nor Loick Essien were names at the time (and the former still isn't) and it received no airplay.

Does 'How We Roll' remind anyone else of 'Yeah!' by Usher/Lil Jon/Ludacris?

I don't see that (yet), but I think it also sounds a bit like Don't Hold You Breath by Nicole Scherzinger and Tonight by Danny Byrd.

I am not sure if it can outsell JLS as it is released on the same week, but I can see Maverick Sabre's 'Let Me Go' being massive. Its so bloody catchy, he has a brilliant voice and he has some hype behind him. I can see it getting to #2 but hanging around for ages, like this years 'She Said'. Its a contender anyway.

I can see the #1's going:

DJ Fresh - Louder

DJ Fresh - Louder

DJ Fresh - Louder

JLS ft Dev - She Makes Me Wanna

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

Nero - Promises

Nero - Promises

Nero - Promises

Example - Stay Awake

That is only from the release schedule at the moment. I am sure other contenders will come up, for example 'Lift Off', if the video and airplay is correct. I doubt Nero will actually get 3 weeks, but I think they will most certainly get one week, its just at the moment there is nothing on the schedule that I think will knock it off, but I am sure something will be added.

Ed's Sheeran's new one is called You Need Me:

Is this the same song as 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' that was in the top 100 on iTunes for a while a couple of weeks before The A Team was (re)released? That's another really old song. :( Hopefully we'll hear some actually new material from him soon...

It'd be a big thing if we could have DJ Fresh, The Wanted, JLS, Cher Lloyd all getting consecutive #1s. A lot of people have been complaining about how few UK artists are in the chart, so they should be very happy if this happens.

I love Tinie Tempah's new song, but if I'm honest, I can see it having Wonderman-sized success. And I think Pixie Lott will have similar success to Nicole Roberts.

Also, I don't think we can really predict the #1s like this though, because some random American song that everybody will love will come along and climb to #1, like Give Me Everything and Party Rock Anthem did.

I think it'll go:

DJ Fresh - Louder

DJ Fresh - Louder

DJ Fresh - Louder

JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

[insert OAOS/pre-released single from artist's album that has enough steam to climb to #1 - Bruno Mars? Pitbull?]

I Wanna Go #122. I'm guessing she can't do promo now because her tour has started, but when the tour comes to the UK if she doesn't promote here i'm giving up!!

Yeah it is - I was a bit annoyed it's an old-ish song, but as it's the one he's probably most well known for before The A Team, it should do very well!

I think the #1's will go:

DJ Fresh - Louder

The Wanted - Glad You Came (Cause there high on pre orders, Could be DJ FRESH again tho)

DJ Fresh - Louder

JLS ft Dev - She Makes Me Wanna

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

Just heard 'How We Roll' for the first time in full, it's okay, I don't mind it being in the top 10, but seeing as everything else in the top 10 is at least 8.5/10 for me, it's a bit of a weak link imo. :(

Tanya Lacey has to be the most pointless feature ever!

Tanya's bit I find really catchy, but she isn't the best part of the song.

^ I still think Nayer on Give Me Everything wins.

The bit before the chorus is my favourite part of the song. Because it builds up, and you think the chorus is about to start, but then it doesn't, quite yet.

Jumping on the bandwagon, my #1 predictions would be:

10-07-11 = DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder

17-07-11 = DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder

24-07-11 = DJ Fresh feat. Sian Evans - Louder

31-07-11 = JLS feat. Dev - She Makes Me Wanna

07-08-11 = Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

14-08-11 = Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

I do have a gut feeling One Direction will score thenselves a debut #1 single when it's released, regardless of what the song is like. The fact it's One Direction will be its selling point.

On a sepearate note Radio Killer 'Lonely Heart' is schduled for release on 14th August so...

21-08-11 = Radio Killer - Lonely Heart (ain't gonna happen but I'd love to be proved wrong :D )

Surely the pointless feature ever is Justin Timberlake on Rihanna's Rehab? He has a small ad-lib of 'let's bring it back' and that's it  Also Pixie Lott is a 'feature' on We Own The Night by Selena Gomez when she just goes 'oh oh oh oh' a few times (which is surely only backing vocals?). Though I'm sure the latter was to make said song more popular in the UK

Lauren Bennett in Party Rock Anthem makes me laugh too.

I think like 20 years ago all these would've probably been left uncredited, but it's nice that they do I suppose.

At least Lauren Bennett actually has a vocal part. What exactly does GoonRock do in the song? :o

I would opt 4 weeks for DJ Fresh, I still think JLS will peak at #2 for some reason hopefully I'll be proven wrong.

Btw, love the siggie :D

I have to agree with Rehab, Justin Timberlake's 'feature' is laughable

oh and I think it will go:

10th July: DJ Fresh - Louder (obvs)

17th July: DJ Fresh - Louder/The Wanted - Glad You Came (can't make my mind up, depends how much DJ Fresh has sunk)

24th July: DJ Fresh - Louder (even if he loses it to the Wanted, he'll climb back next week)

31st July: JLS - She Makes Me Wanna/DJ Fresh - Louder (again, not sure on this one)

7th August: Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

14th August: Something else

can't see SJ getting more than a week, it will be this year's Once I think
