Posted July 11, 201114 yr Adele heading back to number one 11:11 | Tuesday July 12, 2011 Source: MW By Paul Williams Singles Now appearing on the Global Talent label via Island, The Wanted are heading straight to the top of the UK singles chart this weekend with Glad You Came, which is presently bettering the combined sales of Ministry of Sound’s Louder by DJ Fresh featuring Sian Evans and RCA’s Beyonce single Best Thing I Never Had, the second and third top sellers of the week so far. If, as is likely, it ends up at number one on the week-end chart, Glad You Came will be the fourth successive number one which has not be subject to on air/on sale. Also having already been at radio several weeks, Epic act Scouting For Girls’ Love How It Hurts should debut in the Top 20 this Sunday as should Virgin act David Guetta’s Little Bad Girl featuring Taio Cruz and Ludacris. Albums Adele’s 21 looks set to return to the top of the UK artist albums chart for the first time in seven weeks as XL faces the possibility of having three releases in the top five. Having already spent 16 weeks at number one, 21 has now opened up a lead of around 1,350 sales over the rest of the market at this early stage of the week, according to the Official Charts Company. Adele’s album was last at number one in May since when the top spot has been taken by Polydor acts Lady GaGa and Take That, Domino’s Arctic Monkeys and RCA’s Beyonce whose 4 spent a second week at number one last Sunday. With The Horrors’ third album Skying showing up as a new entry at three and Adele’s 19 dropping 4-5 so far this week, XL presently has three of the top five sellers. Beyonce is at two, while the top five is completed by Lady GaGa’s Born This Way down 3-4. Nickelodeon programme Big Time Rush will make its presence felt in the Top 10 this Sunday with the Columbia-handled spin-off album BTR, which was released on Monday, currently the week’s sixth top seller. Three places below it is Columbia act Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light, which has moved into the Top 10 positions following the televising of their T In The Park headline spot over the weekend. Meanwhile, Sugar/UCJ’s Andrea Bocelli has climbed from 173-17 with Vivre – The Best Of following his appearance in the final of ITV1’s Popstar to Operastar. July 12, 201114 yr I am not glad the Wanted came :nono: I'm hoping DJ Fresh can be number one again this week :magic: Of course, that won't happen :( If David G is any higher than 15 on this update I will scream, the song is almost on the same level of BADNESS as 'Where Them Girls At' :( The chorus of "go little bad girl" is a big non-event and the lyrics are so generic and Taio is trying too hard to be American ("I like to put my hands up in the urr, i want that girl dancing over thurr") Edited July 12, 201114 yr by danielMFAO
