Why would TT releasing a new album affect Adele's sales?

I think every household should own at least a copy of Adele's album before Xmas

That doesn't answer my question.

I think Take That have a new album out in October. It won't sell as much as Progress I don't think, it was the value of having Robbie back tbh. It'll still clear a million by the end of the year though.
25 million copies to go then.

Are you not aware of illegal downloads?

What number is Wynter Gordons' "Dirty Talk" currently at? It has jumped back into the iTunes Top 40 at #32.

Well I don't think it will sell as much as its doing now during Xmas, when the attention will be switched to other new releases that's available during the Xmas period.

"digs myself out of a deep hole" :heehee:

Wow at 19- I don't think it'll best Beyonce this week though and GaGa will probably overtake the horrors who should still complete the top5 (bizarrely) if they're lucky and drop like a brick next week. It'd be nice if SFTTR could make the top10 I wonder if a video might give it the nudge if we get one and its not too late.

I really think Will Young will get his week off Adele and then the Chillis may get a couple anyway unless they have big competition their 2nd week. However that still gives adele another 6weeks or something crazy at no1 and she was unlucky last week with Bey and the week of the foos really because her sales are still excellent. Without a deluxe though I don't think even she can prevail and add to her tally in a quarter 4 market, even if the queen dies and she sings someone like you live or something!

Take that another album already? No wonder they rushed out progressed I was wondering. Speeding up their normal cycle wonder if they'll throw in the towel soon. Sure we'll get another GH at the very least 1st

Good sales for wanted clearly still a force to be reckoned with- until JLS are back at least

Great to see LMFAO's 'Champagne Showers' finally cracking the T40 - although 'Party Rock Anthem' was irritating at first; I really grew to like it - and honestly they don't deserve to flop with their second single.

As for Foster the People - they're up to #23 on iTunes now - so I reckon a re-peak is possible permitting they don't suffer from the weekend effect too much.

Im a Take That fan but as far as i know there isnt a new studio album coming this year, if anything it will be a live album.

Where are take that in the midweek album chart?

Good to see Incubus looking like they'll be at least top 30 by Sunday - and FF safely in the top 10, "Wasting Light" is having good longevity so should finish the year fairly high up in the YTDs even if its sales don't match those of their last two albums due to the poor sales climate.

Just looked up the new Scouting For Girls song, and I am surprised by how much I like it, considering I hated "Ain't A love Song".

I think Rizzle Sticks will push Coldplay out by Sunday, looking at iTunes Rizzle Sticks might just get a new entry in the bottom half of the top 40. Ugh...
:cheer: for "Run the World (Girls)" being out of the Top 40. :kink:
