I think Rizzle Sticks will push Coldplay out by Sunday, looking at iTunes Rizzle Sticks might just get a new entry in the bottom half of the top 40. Ugh...

Rizzle Kicks.

Speaking of Kicks, what exact position are Foster The People at? And is their album still top 40?

-x-

Anyway, not happy to see Nicki up to #11 and Fix You down to #40 (looks like FY will just miss out again  But hopefully it can climb again anyway)

Also it looks like The Horrors will miss the top 5 - maybe with Caro Emerald replacing it? :o Or whatever's #6 (Bruno I assume?)

Anyone know why Guetta's album is back in the top 20?

19 doing better than Born This Way

No need for the trollface, considering 19 has already outsold BTW by ~242% and is still ahead :P

Sorry about Sticks, I'm dyslexic :P sticks sounds like kicks :D

anyhow FTP single is at #28 and the album is a no show.

If David G is any higher than 15 on this update I will scream, the song is almost on the same level of BADNESS as 'Where Them Girls At' :( The chorus of "go little bad girl" is a big non-event and the lyrics are so generic and Taio is trying too hard to be American ("I like to put my hands up in the urr, i want that girl dancing over thurr")

I've just heard David Guetta's new song and :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: AWFUL! And I see what you mean with Taio trying to be an American - I actually thought he was from the US when I first heard heard him with Break Your Heart!

I love Where Dem Girls At though... :kink:

You never heard any of his Departure material? I thought Come On Girl at least was fairly well-known (in the UK) :o

I wasn't into music before 2010 (of course I liked music, but I didn't listen to the charts every week and post on internet forums) but I heard 'Come On Girl' when it came out on the now album... and I loved it (I didn't know who Taio was back then lol I just listened because of Luciana, who features on one of my fave tracks of all time; Yeah, Yeah   )

Apart from COG, I didn't hear any of Taio's other songs until 'Break Your Heart' in 2009

Take Me Back which he did with Tinchy Stryder was also really popular before Break Your Heart. I can't imagine someone not hearing that somewhere at the time, although I guess you could also not know that was Taio Cruz.
I know I heard Take Me Back, but not sure about Come On Girl, I may have done, but just didn't know it was Taio Cruz. I probably didn't know that it was Taio Cruz that sung on Take Me Back because radio and TV only credited Tinchy Stryder, I'm not sure.

^You haven't heard of this?

I only listened to it knowing what the title was a short time ago, and I instantly recognised it.

i think there is no need to compare 19 or 21 to BTW....

it's insane...ppl just love Adele way more than gaga these days...it's a heat wave...

what's fair is comparing BTW's performance to it's promotion...

I thought that BTW will drop off top 5 soon...but it's still staying in the top 5...and even get back to no.4 now...

gaga is not doing much promotion in the UK...she did once on tv and she got to the top again with that...it proves that she just needs more promotion to make her album sell more...

but so far...the album sale is good enough with repect to its promotion...

all the best to BTW...I think she will sell more when she does a new tour in the UK later this year :D

In the US at least, Born This Way is probably one of the best promoted albums I've seen in my life.

Even in the UK, I'd say it's been very well promoted, compared to Bruno Mars's album, for example.
