Odd that RHCP haven't shown up, since they're in the 20s on iTunes which is a 48-hour scale...

It's a weighted 48-hour scale. iTunes very rarely seems to match up with the mids regarding midweek releases.

*snips the rest of this original post because it was way too messy*

R1 seems to disagree with the posted update - it has Foster The People at #28 and Adele - RITD at #36  Also 'Chris Brown & Justin Bieber' is listed twice, the second one is meant to be 'Chris Brown & Benny Benassi'.

11 of the top 15 are non-movers (10 of the top 13) Most stale chart in ages. Tons of 'default' climbers as well.

Good to see Till I'm Gone top 40 :D But Hitz is now only just clinging on to the top 40 (now #39) :(

BOO @ both LMFAO songs climbing :puke: And Coldplay down to #17 :(

Pitbull up to #6 :o I really hope he can hold top 10 next week to beat LMFAO's top 10 weeks.

Oh dear! lmao at Pitbull climbing 3 places.

In terms of Hitz, I like the song personally, and I think the hook is fantastic!

Pitbull [GME] - [35-25-12-4-1-1-1-2-4-4-5-8-9] - 10 weeks T10; 13 weeks T40

LMFAO [PRA] - [22-3-2-1-1-1-1-2-3-4-4-7-9-12-14-15-19] - 12 weeks T10; 17 weeks T40

This week Pitbull claimed the fourth single to 10+ weeks in the UK T10 - with LMFAO, Jessie J and Adele [RITD] being the other three singles. I'd hoped Example could become the fifth, but it seems unlikely. Ed Sheeran though is still within the T3 and only on week #5.

Oh, so Pitbull needs to stick around 2 more weeks (plus this week which is a given) to beat LMFAO. He probably won't do it then :( I thought LMFAO were only on 11 top 10 weeks for some reason.

I think matching 12 weeks is definitely feasable. It's currently up 3 places to #6 (as of Wednesday) - and is holding strong on iTunes - so that'll bring it's total to 11.

Next week, the only T10 debut is likely to be JLS with 'She Makes Me Wanna' - and then there remains the possibility of Adele or Nicki Minaj sneaking in - the former more likely. Bearing that in mind, we could have 2 potential new T10 entries - probably pushing out Katy Perry and Example (so Pitbull has a 12th week).

In a fortnight's time though, only Cher Lloyd looks to debut within the T10 - so if 'Give Me Everything' can hold on next week and then also the week after - perhaps Harris will be pushed out to accomodate Lloyd; then it's total will be 13 - beating the LMFAO record.

Pitbull will stay top 10 officially as long as he stays top 10 on iTunes. He just needs to stay comfortably afloat ahead of potential new top 10 entries from JLS, Maverick Sabre, Adele, Nicki Minaj and Cher Lloyd to be in with a chance of getting to 13 weeks and I just don't think he'll do that unless he gets another boost from somewhere.

It's all a bit hectic between 7 and 9 on iTunes at the moment, the top 6 seem to be holding their places (apart from when Ed overtook Fresh) as does Example at #10 but Calvin/Katy/Pitbull keep rapidly swapping.

:yahoo: Tinie Tempah (Till I'm Gone and Hitz) both still in the T40 - am hoping he can stay there on Sunday! Would also love to see LMFAO climb

37 Adele [RITD]

29 Adele [sLY]

11 Adele [sFTTR]

I'd be so happy if all 3 were top 40 this week! That'd be brilliant with the #1 & #3 slots on the the album chart too! Amazing!

Happy to see Beyoncé staying stable in both the singles and albums charts. ^_^
Yes Caro! Such a great album, old-skool yet somehow contemporary and classy, it deserves to be a big seller :D

Foster The People now climbing :cheer: And 'Torches' is up 2 from yesterday too :D

Hitz still hanging on in the top 40. Really hope it can stay there by some miracle. :(

Adele looks set for 3 top 40 singles (plus the #1 and #3 album ofc) :D

Caro's album top 5 :o I semi-expected it to get there by Sunday but she seems to be a big seller at the weekend so I didn't expect her to overtake Bruno suring the week.
