August 26, 201113 yr I love that video. considering there are bits of live performances in there, there's also a lot going on. the avril cameos are obviously my favourite part though.
August 27, 201113 yr I also love how Rihanna's fifth single is doing better on iTunes than Gaga's fourth single so far, despite Rihanna's video being released a few days after! Rihanna is really becoming the perfect popstar. (Despite my signature, no, I am not a Gaga loon!) Edited August 27, 201113 yr by cookie_monster
August 27, 201113 yr I was thinking that too ... but Rihanna's song is much more accessible than GaGa's who really should've released 'Marry The Night' over her current abortion.
August 27, 201113 yr Plus the fact 'Loud' has sold double what 'Born This Way' has and has been around for longer! But yes I agree with Jack and put that down to 'You & I' being a bit crap as a single for the UK/Europe. It's strange but I'm not complaining. :D
August 28, 201113 yr It should probably be noted that there is nothing that sounds like "You & I" on the radio, whilst "Cheers" (a great song, don't get me wrong), is another dance/urban track.
August 28, 201113 yr There's a good reason why there's nothing on radio that sounds like 'You And I'.
August 28, 201113 yr Each to their own, in my opinion, it's Gaga's most original single since "Poker Face".
August 28, 201113 yr There's a good reason why there's nothing on radio that sounds like 'You And I'. Haha so true. It's awful! Don't really get how it is original though...have you not heard of Shania Twain? Either way, original certainly doesn't always mean good.
August 28, 201113 yr Even I can admit it sounds like something Shania would record in 1998, but I'm a sucker for country so I love it and it's nice to see her do something different (for her, not for the charts) with a single that's not a club banger. I can definitely see why people are disappointed with it though, it doesn't have very wide appeal.

I wouldn't say Cheers is a dance song... I prefer You&I to Cheers, probably because once the 2nd chorus is over I skip the track - I find it very boring afterwards! Well the part where the music goes off and there are people singing (off-tune!) :D Also, I haven't heard a remix of Cheers that I like yet, and I like every remix I've heard off You&I is amazing! :D
