I love Dirty Hands dearly but the competition is ridiculously tough in semi 1 alone. I have a feeling I may for the first time EVER go three contests without a top ten :o

 

I've just checked back and it's not happened to me either. I've missed two in a row a few times, and came most dangerously close to the trio with Breaking The Silence/Backseat/A Night Like This, except the first two both squeaked a 10th pace finish!

 

Noted future flopstars Example and Caro Emerald have a lot to answer for -_-

I am really not sure whether I will qualify... I initially thought my song was the worst thing I've ever sent to any BJ contest and fully expected a DNQ result but then other people seemed to think it would do well so I've allowed myself to get my hopes up and will be gutted if it doesn't make it!

The worst thing is is that I normally bounce back from two contests where I miss the top ten with either a PROPER smash or something which kicks off a ridiculously long run in the top ten. No sign of that happening for me until a certain someone hurries up and gets out a studio version of a track only available in acoustic and a one-minute concert perf with some rather HOT VOX, and I have no idea how many months I'll have to wait for that.

I get it every time Peter hosts! I can't remember if I got it when Hits hosted but I was never really that worried for Panic...obviously without much reason in hindsight :lol:

SO close on the qualification border in Semi 2, I feel incredibly sorry for two countries in particular.

Some high profile countries DNQ'ing this month (possibly :o)
