Be Faithful is second in my list :puke: :puke: :puke: I just don't see the appeal, some bloke shouting over a sample from another song, and when he's not doing that, he's just shouting the same thing over and over again - I just don't get it?!

Not for me. The song truly irritates me. I'm not very fond of over-emoting in song. It's cliché and, most of the time, a really LCD trick. Besides, she's nothing more than a modern-day Celine Dion to me, if you ask me.

I hate over-emoting as well but I don't feel Adele does over-emote in SLY at all. I generally don't like female ballads but SLY is a really good song IMO. Ah well, each to their own I guess :P

I strongly object to the comparison to Céline Dion. The main difference between the two is Adele is good and Céline is terrible.

Someone Like You is okay, but I don't think it's that good. It would've been so much better with some drums and guitar in imo.
I remember getting insanely angry when Dizzee Rascal - Bonkers got to number 1 for some reason, I hated it! I would have to go with that. Also any shite Just Load Shit releases aswell.

I love Bonkers!

Bonkers and Boom Boom Pow was one of the best top 2's ever, imo. And they were the top 2 for 3 weeks aswell. :D

I can see why people hate both of those songs though. They're not exaclty your traditional song.

I loved Boom Boom Pow though! It was so different and out there but Bonkers was just plain :puke2: It's the only song I felt physically sick listening too :o
Star Trekkin' by The Firm from 1987. It is the most annoying song I can think of. Can't believe anyone bought that...
Do you like 'Just Dance'? :D If one is a 'load of noise' then the other surely should be also that...

And I like both 'Be Faithful' and 'Babycakes'. :(

I can't name anything for the list so far.... I don't remember anything before mid-noughties, just because I have a short memory for the things I don't like. Same actually applies for the songs after mid-noughties.

I loved "Just Dance"! But Cascada is terrible.

Oh and Dizzee Rascal is probably worse than Cascada.

I really liked 'Be Faithful' for a couple of years before it came out - it was just a mix of other people's records with Scoop shouting, but then that's what block parties sounded like in the 70s - a load of breaks and inane shout-outs. It's one of the best number ones of the past 10 years.

If people really hate tuneless shout records then what about DJ Pied Piper?

...and if it's unprofessionally recorded garage you really hate then there's nothing worse than the made in three minutes tosh by Oxide & Neutrino.

At the beginning of Titanic they play a rather lovely Irish air. At the end they play more or less the same tune with Celine Dion screeching over it.
3 of a Kind - Babycakes, nothing is worse.
Surely I can't be the only person on the planet who literally has to get up and switch off the radio whenever Chris De Burgh starts to warble about his "Lady in Red"?

Aargh :puke2: I had managed to banish that abomination form my memory until you reminded me

Sorry to mention it then. But the nation had to be reminded, lest the passage of the years had reduced the impact of this aural abomination upon the people's musical soul....

I was listening to Radio 2 this morning, and they talked about that song (as least, I think it was Lady in Red). I think they were comparing it to You're Beautiful. Ouch.

Gorillaz - Dare or X-tina - Dirrty.

:puke: rape to my ears.

I love that!! Such a fun record. Maybe it's only just above the level of Fast Food Rockers, but it's so fun.
