why wont jls just F*** OFF! polluting the charts with autotuned nonsense!

:banghead:

Because they're the only 'autotuned nonsense' in the charts... :P

(I'd assume they won't 'F*** OFF' because they're quite successful)

01 JLS [sMMW]

02 The Wanted

03 DJ Fresh

04 Amy Winehouse [bTB]

05 Ed Sheeran

06 Beyonce

07 Loick Essien

08 Pitbull

09 Calvin Harris

10 Katy Perry

11 Maverick Sabre

12 Adele

13 Nicki Minaj

14 Jason Derulo

15 David Guetta [WTGA]

16 JLS [NK]

17 Example

18 Amy Winehouse [R]

19 Aloe Blacc

20 David Guetta [LBG]

#1-6 and #10 placements have been confirmed - so Loick, Pitbull and Harris are estimated based on iTunes positions. Likewise, #11-13 and #16-18 have been confirmed - so Derulo, Guetta, Guetta and Blacc are estimated. Only other potential songs in the T20 are Rizzle Kicks and Chris Brown ft. Justin Bieber

I'm now told that from now on The OCC WILL combine

the Sales of both versions of 'Back To Black'. We will see.

It means that the Sales of each version of 'Frank'

will be combined, too. (Or should be, if they are

doing that for 'Back To Black').

I don't know what will happen with the Sales

of the 'Frank' + 'Back To Black' 'Set'. Logically,

The OCC should halve its Sales, & add one half to

'Frank', & one half to 'Back To Black'.

It does not mean that they will do that.....

What is your source for this? Just four hours ago the OCC tweeted this:

@sxa555 I believe on this occasion yes. There is a reason why they are counted seperately.

Which strongly suggests they will indeed stay separated...

Also, regarding Frank & Back To Black, that should remain charting separately as it's essentially a 'box set' of 2 albums. They didn't split up Kylie's sales last week so they shouldn't split up Amy's sales this week.

Kutox is always making these snobbish and patronising comments here and on Digital Spy as well, its best to just ignore him -_-

Sorry for being a fan of actual music. That seems to be frowned upon by some people here

Are you apologising for posting snobbish and patronising comments with a snobbish and patronising comment? You're not really helping yourself here.

LOL @ Set Fire To The Rain. It would be at #10 by the end of the week I reckon if Back To Black wasn't so high.

I'm glad that my favourite Winehouse track will hopefully be making a chart appearance. (You Know I'm No Good)

Why does the Music Week report call Joss Stone's album "Stone'd"? Putting the ludicrous apostrophe to one side for the moment, the album seems to be called 'Lp1'. At least that's what hmv and amazon are selling.

(And while we're on apostrophes, is it Music Week themselves who put the meaningless apostrophes into the word 'midweeks', three times in that report, or have they been added when the report has been posted on here?)

?

I'm not a hysterical little girl, last time I looked as I was a rather large and relatively calm male - and I love JLS as a whole, especially She Makes Me Wanna. I'm pretty sure we can believe Klumzee is a boy too, and there are plenty of males on this site that like the song.

Anyone with a brain should be able to deduce that people are allowed to like JLS, even if you don't. And besides, 'hysterical' little girls have as much right to like and buy the music that they want anyway...

Feel sorry that you identify yourself with that type of music. Please be hush hush when you chat to your mates about music :D

I'm sure it is them :heehee: They can't even get their facts right half the time, so what makes you think spelling and grammar matters to them either?

From what little I've heard of it, it sounds like she's returned close to the sound of her first two, successful, albums. :)

11 new tracks in the 40, one good thing the Amy tracks has cleared a lot of deadwood from the likes of Foster The People (oops), Nicole, Saturdays, LMFAO/Natalia, Mann, Vato, Adele [RITD], J.lo/Lil'Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Chase & Status and Jessie J.

That's not a good thing, most of the above singles are far superior and more representative of 2011 than years old Winehouse tracks.

In other words, replacing one lot of deadwood for another? ;)

Surely Winehouse songs are just as 'representative' of 2011 because they represent a significant event in 2011?

The deluxe version of Back To Black has now been removed but Adele is still number one. That means one of the following is likely.

1) They've removed the deluxe version but haven't added the sales to the original

2) Sales of both versions were included with the original yesterday with the deluxe version also charting separately

3) Adele was comfortably ahead yesterday and sales of everything else are so bad that she is still ahead even with the two Amy versions being combined.

I think #3 is probably most likely, I'm sure the sales of last week's #2 and #7 weren't enough for #1 combined so it'd make sense they aren't here.

Strange (but good) that the OCC seem to be going back on their word with the deluxe edition thing! Hopefully they'll do so with the other old albums too (although Call Me Irresponsible is the only other album that's really been affected by it).

Frank now top 10 :D Great to see Amy still has 7 top 40 singles today, the top 5 are still all comfortably top 40 on iTunes so hopefully she can finish with 5 on Sunday! Shame to see BTB down to #5 but it was always going to happen, will probably be down to 6 or 7 tomorrow but hopefully it won't go any lower than that on Sunday.

On a positive note, Ed up to #4 again :D
