The qualifying rules will be similar to last year but a bit different.

 

The final this year will contain 60 songs, with the top 3 from each round qualifying. Positions 4-10 from each will go into two evenly split semi-finals where the top 15 from each will qualify.

Predictable top 3 for sure, but being honest a rather worthy one as well. And OMGYAY at Empire Of The Sun picking up so much appreciation. How We Are The People and Walking On A Dream weren't HUGE I really can't fathom.

That's not an entirely awful top 10, predictable perhaps, and somewhat annoying to see three Gaga songs present, but decent all the same.

 

Now please excuse me whilst I go and weep for VV and Paloma. Otherwise, nothing too shabby actually, a nice result again for The Noisettes and other than Cheryl being stupidly high, not bad at all.

I do much prefer Walking on a Dream but I think We Are The People would've got points off me in any other game, this game really was very strong. I'm pleased to see it so high though as it's something a bit different.

 

I agree with the top 3 comment too. I don't like female pop music as much as many on here but they're three great songs.

Great for Empire of the Sun, truly a great song. And fairly good list, it is not like I expected Little Lion Man, Uprising nor Sexy Bitch to qualify anyways. If the Girls Aloud song would be substituted by any of the three mentioned the whole top ten would have been quite good indeed.

Would've preffered to have seen Rihanna in over Lily, but a decent top three nonetheless. Surprised 'Russian Roulette' done so well actually, it's one of my favourites by her but I always thought it was considered to be one of her weaker singles by many!

Well, at least The Prodigy got into the 'qualifying for next year's game' section :P Obviosuly didn't expect them to be anywhere near top 10 (as I said already).

 

Very pleased that Calvin and Empire Of The Sun made it through :D Other than that a highly predictable but mostly decent list of qualifiers. Bad Romance will be winning the whole thing by a mile again from the looks of things.
