Out of interest has anybody heard Swagger Jagger on Capital before?

 

Yeah once in like 1month and a bit

I heard Swagger Jagger twice on Capital, once about 3 weeks ago and once the other day. But I don't listen to the radio that much so it probably gets played quite a bit.
i have around 3 or 4 times :)

 

Oh, that's okay then. :lol: Just I haven't heard it yet, so I was a bit worried they were never going to play her at all. Although, by definition, they'd have to play her from now on, but there've been big hits which they didn't play before, like Don't Stop Believin' by Glee Cast from last year. Another one was Not Afraid. I heard it a few times on there, but given how big a hit it was, they should've played it much more.

 

Also, is Cher the first X Factor contestent not to get played on Heart FM then? If so, good on her! :thumbup:

I would say its a cert - its an absolutely crap song; but I think its guaranteed the top spot

 

Personally I'm hopeing she goes like Supernova - goes within 1 bar of overtaking JLS before beginning to drop back; but it wont happen

The Jay-Z/Kanye/Beyonce song could be released this week aswell, since they're supposed to be releasing it before the album, and there's not exactly long left now. :lol:
'Swagger Jagger' has been pretty unavoidable, I'd be very surprised if it doesn't go to #01. 'She Makes Me Wanna' is also annoyingly unavoidable atm :(.

Regarding the chart success of the Class of '10, I think 1D will score a #1 with both their album and single. I think Matt will get a top 5 single and a #1 album and Rebecca will get a top 5 single and a top 3 album.

To me, the most unavoidable songs at the moment are probably Forget You, Empire State of Mind and The Lazy Song.

Apparently some of the songs are RedOne produced, so they'll probably suck.

 

However, I don't want an album full of songs like Stay. She did sing it very well (and as a result got it top 10 on iTunes :lol:), but I was disappointed by the performance. I tuned in most weeks to see her perform, as I loved that she performed songs by Eminem, Keri Hilson, Jay-Z, etc, so I was quite disappointed that week when she sang that song.

 

Even the Love the Way You Lie and Empire State of Mind performances, I didn't really like. They're too slow for her, especially since she mostly did the female versions of them. I prefered it when she rapped (or tried to, bless her :wub:).

On the music channels, 'She Makes Me Wanna', 'Next To You', 'I'm Into You', 'California King Bed' and 'The Edge Of Glory' are all unavoidable.

They used to be when I worked at Greggs, which are licensed to only play Heart FM for god knows what reason. That used to be TORTURE.

 

But I only really watch music channels / listen to Radio 1 + Capital other than my own music now and 'She Makes Me Wanna' and 'Swagger Jagger' have definetly stood out lately.

Wow. Thanks. I know NEVER to go to Greggs then! :o Playing Heart is stupid of them, unless they don't want any customers there under the age of 75! :lol:

 

I don't watch MTV much actually, so I'm probably missing out on a lot of the Swagger Jagger presence from that.
