was hoping for something a bit more when I heard this yday. I was excited when I saw those 3 had made a record, but it's just lazy noise.
Not even listened yet, but it sounds INCREDIBLY generic from the artists involved...

^ I haven't listened to it yet, but a Timbaland production wouldn't be generic in the charts today. The closest thing we've had to Timbaland this year is probably Nobody's Perfect by Jessie J. Although it features David Guetta, so...

EDIT: Listened to it now. Sounds SO much like one of LMFAO's songs imo.

It's not actually that generic, I can't really find the Guetta influence in it. Just sounds like a sub-par Timbo track, then Pitbull's presence makes it sound vaguely "current".

Shock Value III?!?!

The second one was bad enough, which is a shame as I absolutely adored the first album.

Well, some of the instruments for starters, are things Timbaland would've never used of his own accord in a million years I think. Unless he's that desperate to get back in the mainstream.

Pitbull is everywhere, he is starting to do my head in. I love Timbaland and always thought the songs he produced were great, I love Shock Value and even loved the singles off of Shock Value 11 but never listened to the whole album. That is why this has disappointed me so much, its exactly the same as everything in the charts at the moment & is completely unorginal and more importantly un-Timbaland. Why he decided to get Guetta on board aswell is beyond me as they both make such different music. I wouldn't be suprised if this did quite well actually, but I really hope that Timba goes back to his 'Give It To Me', 'The Way I Are' days as soon as possible, and that this sound is just a one off.

I haven't even listened to this yet but I can ALREADY TELL this is a desperate attempt from Timbaland to prove he's still 'current' just from the featured artists. He probably doesn't even need to change his sound, he still had 3 biggish hits from Shock Value II which sounded exactly the same as the stuff from Shock Value (I). Although I suppose the album didn't exactly do very well.

It's actually OK, not as facelessly generic as I expected but it's bearable. Sounds strangely kind of dated though, am I the only one who feels it?
I'm not quite sure what I think of it. It sounds a bit clunky and messy at the moment, but I think a HQ version would probably benefit this track alot. It's not really that generic compared with what they could've made.

Absolutely awful and i gave it about 10 listens.

The quality of his producing and his own music really hasn't been as good since working with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake. He had the odd good hit from his solo albums but the albums themselves were poor.

I actually enjoyed SV2 more than SV1, this looked far more promising than it sounds. There is far too much going on....

I hear absolutely no Timbaland in this production. This is something that should've been on Guetta's album, or maybe even a bonus track on his album. I wish Timbo would realize that changing his sound is NOT what will get him back onto the charts, it's going back to the STELLAR tracks he produced in the 2006-07 period. Say It Right, The Way I Are, Release. Those are the types of songs that he's good at making. This is generic and makes him sound like every other producer out there. In other words, not like himself.

Get back to me when he puts out a song up to this level again:

^ Agree that beat above is brilliant!!

This has been playlisted by some radio stations already, and if it features David Guetta, surely a guaranteed top 20 at least?
