August 4, 201113 yr Maybe next week for Katy then? She has taken the top spot on airplay and there is a possible rumoured remix coming out. Fingers crossed. New Peak for Set Fire To The Rain! Great to see Someone Like You re entering. Edited August 4, 201113 yr by Jimmie
August 4, 201113 yr Four Adele songs :D Other than that another boring, uneventful week as usual. LMFAO need to piss off this instant.
August 4, 201113 yr Sales for next weeks chart are being tracked from the Monday just gone until Sunday I think, so there isn't that long for it to make a big impact. Hope she can manage it though. (Though there is a rumour it features Rebecca Black and has such will come out tomorrow - Friday. Just a rumour atm though!)
August 4, 201113 yr I totally missed Rumour Has It! Rebecca Black?! Oh my she will get an actual *Chart* hit if she is featured. I actually like Rebecca so I hope the rumours are true! Also top 10 for Britney! 4th consecutive now for her! 5 with S&M! Edited August 4, 201113 yr by Jimmie
August 4, 201113 yr Woo for Foster The People, Drake, Jay-Z/Kanye, Cobra Starship, Afrojack etc., Martin Solveig, Alexandra Stan, all the Adele tracks, Kreayshawn and Rihanna!
August 4, 201113 yr I thought Katy was #1 as its all the BBC have been talking about? That's the Billboard Pop Songs chart.
August 4, 201113 yr I did hear them keep talking about it on the radio, "Will she break/equal the record?" when obviously we could tell she wouldn't do it this week as airplay & sales have decided to peak at different times. But she may have broken some kind of record as she is now #1 on the 'Pop songs' chart. edit: beaten to it Edited August 4, 201113 yr by Jáhq
August 4, 201113 yr Britster you're godsend as Billboard has f***ed up again the update on their site.
August 4, 201113 yr Btw Katy needs a 30% increase in sales to overtake LMFAO, that's not easy. And despite Bre said "not much happening" beneathe the surface there's loads happening as Lighters and Pumped Up Kicks are gaining a lot in airplay and in sales. Also, it's the first time Britney Spears has got 3 top ten hits from one album. Mark Anthony hasn't seen the Top 40 since You Sang to Me (#2, 2000). Edited August 4, 201113 yr by SKOB
