I think he was saying people (like him) might not make the connection between the two.

I've seen some Facebook groups about the song though.

I'm sure people are dumb enough to just type the 'riot' word into the search box and download the song because it seems 'cool' :/

I'm just surprised Kanye's still trying to make him happen, HE'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Contrary to people's expectations, this collaboration was a great success. I'd say it deserved to go Top 100.

I have no idea how Mr Hudson (he of the band whose first album in 2007 peaked at #69) even met Kanye West, let alone how he got signed by him...

Mr Hudson is  I might have to check this out, despite Otis (the only thing I've heard from WTT) being shite.

 12. Titanium (feat. Sia) - David Guetta & Sia

Hmm, looks like I might be wrong about this not even getting to #11. I haven't heard this yet but I do hope it can go top 10 if only to continue Guetta's streak. Although I'm sure 'Lunar' will ruin that streak anyway because I have a feeling it may be an instrumental and will do less well than 'Titanium' (and 'Night Of Your Life' released the week after next)

I wonder why all David Guetta songs other than Where Them Girls At seem to take a long time to peak? Especially recently with Sweat and Little Bad Girl being top 20 for 3 weeks going up and down before finally breaking the top 10. Club Can't Handle Me took 3 weeks to reach #1, Gettin' Over You didn't make #1 on iTunes until, what, Thursday? WLTO and SB were a bit more instant.

Ah you should try and listen to it; its different to the generic Guetta sound we've been getting off late from the last run of singles :)

I don't think this is an official single, so it dosent matter if it don't go Top 10 it's just an album warm up track, but it's good to see it do well. It's alot better then LBG.

You should actually, it's easily the best thing he's come out with since When Love Takes Over (though I LOVED One Love (the song) and didn't mind Gettin' Over You, the rest were horrible though).

That's not particularly encouraging considering I hate all 3 of those songs and like/love the rest of his material since WLTO :drama: But I think I'll listen to the Chart Update today and hopefully they'll play it then, if not I'll have a listen to it later anyway.

I know that, it'd just look a bit annoying on Guetta's chart history if these promo singles get in the way of a good top 10 streak :P

24 Bruno Mars/ Marry You

41 Drake/ Headlines

52 The Game ft Chris Brown/ Pot of Gold. Just curious. How come The Game hasn't had much chart success in the past few years? He had 3 Top10 Hits in 2005 then disappeared

76 Paul Weller/ Starlite

Guetta's best single is easily The World Is Mine, which completely flopped in the UK. :nocheer:

Ooh, Paramore climbing? Awesome. Bit late for a new peak I think

Why are they climbing now, anyway?

Another 59p offer?

Surprised to see Wet taking off so fast.

The Music Video

^ This was released this morning, hopefully it can crack the T40 this week and begin to climb. I'm hoping a T20 peak isn't out of the question, but this release reminds me of Tinie Tempah's 'Invincible', in that it's merely filling time before the 'big release' - which in Jessie's case is 'Who You Are' and Tempah's was 'Wonderman'. However, [WLN] could do well on the back of the clever and amusing video, the message it contains and the fact that the lyrics are applicable to these London riots (in a weak sense).

I love how Jessie has avoided any standing up in the video because of her injured foot :P

I agree though, this is just sort of a filler until WYA which will no doubt get a whole load of promo including XFactor etc
