I got rid of that part of my post because I YouTubed it and found she didn't and wanted to cover up my false assumptions :ph34r:

 

But anyway, it's just fairly standard for the gender references in a song to be changed when being sung by a person of the opposite sex. So I thought she may have done that with 'The A Team'.

I may just be a bit skewed by how much I love the original but I really don't like Birdy's version of The A Team. And it just seems a bit INAPPROPRIATE that a girl who's 15 years old is singing about a drug-addicted prostitute. (Then again, she's older than me...)

I'm over the moon to see 'Titanium' actually made the top 10, I didn't think it would. :o

I'm sure she's said something about wanting to improve her own writing skills until she can make something as good as the songs she's covering.

Hopefully 'Lunar' will go at least top 20 on iTunes next week, not expecting it to go top 10 like 'Titanium' has considering it's an instrumental but it's by far the best of the first four releases from 'Nothing But The Beat' for me. :wub:

Well, I had doubts over the lyrics of 'Skinny Love' at first, but now its my fav song of 2011 (so far). Can't wait for her debut album!

wow, just got linked Titanium and this track is amazing. Sia's voice is beautiful, and her work with Christina Aguilera has proven this. her voice on a dance track; wow. after the first 1min, i was convinced of purchasing it on iTunes. It is insane.

 

So happy it's top 10. would love it to become #1

On second listen Titanium has grown on me loads and I do now prefer it to LBG. :wub: 'Lunar' is better than both though. (And all three are far better than 'Where Them Girls At' which I still like - I haven't yet heard anything I dislike from this era but 'Night Of Your Life' doesn't sound too great from the 30-second clip...)

 

I wouldn't agree with what a lot of people are saying about Titanium being Guetta's best since 'When Love Takes Over' as I don't even like that song, but I'd say it's his best since 'Memories' and 'Lunar' is his best since 'Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)' (and overall my second favourite Guetta song :wub:)

Titanium is really good I think it will go Top 5 but probably not 1, Wretch 32 is sure to hit the top spot next week.
