They wanted to cut down on it so that the show isn't 80% of her songs but I'm sure this Saturday someone will sing "Someone Like You". We ALL know it's GOING to happen ;)

 

I remember reading in the news a few months back about how someone has performed Someone Like You at the auditions and made all the judges cry. So when that gets shown, Someone Like You will be back in the top 10. :lol:

It is annoying. It'd be massive if people actually heard the song. It's brilliant, so I'm sure a lot of people would buy it if it was played on the radio.

I can see it going top 10 in that "judges cry" episode. If it makes the judges cry, it'll probably make the viewers cry aswell tbh, which means sales.

 

I noticed last year, the songs that got boosted the most after being performed were mainly the kind of depressing love songs (Stay, Unfaithful, Just the Way You Are, Make You Feel My Love, Love the Way You Lie, etc.). When songs like Just Dance, Shout and Barbra Streisand got performed, they didn't see such a significant boost. Turn My Swag On is the main exception I think, but that's a rather exceptional song. :lol:

 

So basically, you're right, any Adele song will probably see a massive increase in sales. :lol:

Dear god ! I know for a fact we will see a song go top 10 with no doubt hey will have an emotional story. I hope we don't see anything like Make You Feel My Love again..... I can imagine the xFactor playing Someone Like You weekly!

I hoping x factor isn't just a singing contest of who can sing an adele song best. Hopefully after last year with cher, we will have some more creative song choices than just the standard ballads that turn up every series. Adele is not the only artist I can see getting overplayed and oversung on the show, I think Bruno Mars is another artist although not to the same extent as adele and songs like forget you are bound to be sung loads

Her album has been deleted. All her other songs in the top 100 have also disappeared. (Apart from 'Love The Way You Lie' but she's only a feature on that)

I wonder why on Earth her album was deleted? :o At least it won't have any real effect, as CKB has been and gone and Cheers was just gaining trickle sales from being announced as a single and a bit of airplay. It was C-Listed on R1 yesterday but the playlist isn't in effect till Monday(?) so if they get it back by then she can use the sales gain.

What if they are trying to repress Cheers' sales? But they could of just made the single track 'album only'. Death Jam are killing me!!!
