Read my post above. :kink: But yeah, it samples the original.

It's very catchy. T-Pain delivers an epic hook as usual.

yeah, sorry, posted literally as I saw that

it was only a matter of time until a rapper sampled that

Yes, true.

Although I'd honestly be very surprised if it hasn't been sampled before by a popular rapper. I can't think of any off the top of my head though. I'll probably try and search for one since I'm bored now.

Maroon 5 doing well! :o They could get to #1 on iTunes by the end of the week then! :o But I think the new releases next week will push it down to #3 again.

EDIT: Mann, yes, Mann has sampled Axel F before! :o So, basically, he's sampled every song, so he's run out of songs to sample, so has to go through them all again.

Have any other artists ever sampled the same song twice before?

Maroon 5  2

Yes! :cheer:

Much better than Emeli ^_^

I can't believe Moves Like Jagger is #2 after being over 5% behind Emeli over 2hours ago, the play on celebrity big brother has certainly helped them. Surprised to see Wretch32 still not dropping down the charts.

Edit: This is obviously because of the Big Brother boost as Pixie Lott - All About Tonight is #48 in Pre-Orders now.

Big Brother was also what got One Day Like This that one week it had in the top 40, iirc.

Whoo happy for Maroon5 and Christina. This will have very good longevity, and judging by how well the new releases do, it *could* snatch #1 next week.

Yay for Moves Like Jagger

Just noticed it's also at 103

The official release is 29th August, same as Ed Sheeran, Example, Cover Drive, Belle Amie, Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, Katy B and James Morrison. I think Bruno, Ed and Example could be another all new top 3 (Ed Sheeran will probably be number 1). Jessie J and Nicole Scherzinger should probably be low top 10, maybe James Morrison too. Katy B and Cover Drive probably top 40 and Belle Amie will probably either just sneak in or totally miss out.
Loud has been readded to iTunes, really weird state of affairs going on there, will take a while for the tracks to climb again.
I wondered why MLJ had gone up to #2... given it's a 48 hour chart that means its sales since Wednesday morning have been better than Emeli's so if they overtake Wretch they could get #2 officially.
I really hope so. Emeli's song is OK, but Wretch makes me want to :kink:
I remember reading in the news a few months back about how someone has performed Someone Like You at the auditions and made all the judges cry. So when that gets shown, Someone Like You will be back in the top 10.

Probably weeping at the fact that people are choosing such an obvious, unoriginal track to perform on X-Factor.
