She's won the Critics' Choice award at the 2011 Brits. Ellie Goulding won last year.

YES, go Jessie  The 4th female in a row to win it! (Adele, Florence and Ellie were before her)
Ahhhh. Fantastic news. Brilliant platform, although sometimes it can add double the amount of pressure onto her to get it right. I don't think she'll have a problem though.

She seems like the type of person who will cope with it fine

The song is sticking around for a while and will hopefully build some great sales.

My favourite song of the moment. I really like Jessie J. I have seen many of her You tube videos and she actually has a very good singing voice. I can't wait for her album. She is one of the reasons why 2011 is looking to be a good year for music.

The song is absolutely ridiculous. Whilst the lyrics are catchy, the production is appauling imo and I find her tone of voice extremely irritating. She will definitely be quite big though, she will definitely get a real push from her label as they have obviously put a huge amount of money behind her.

But idk, I think the female popstar fad might be coming to an end. We have so many of them now - American, British, European etc. that the public are going to get sick of them very soon...can't help but feel with the dub-step revolution occuring in 2011 that it may happen next year.

Her three-track Rock Feedback sessions has leaked and WOW. She's amazing! I'm so in awe of her at the moment.

01. 'Stand Up' (which is amazing btw!)

02. 'Who You Are'

03. 'Price Tag'

All acoustic versions and ! Really hope she's massive as the hype is suggesting next year!

 Great stuff!

I do prefer her 'bowl-cut' hair though.

It f***s me off to see her try so hard to get people involved and they do f*** all and give her a dirty look. WHERE'S THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!? :drama:
I just don't get her  she wreaks of trying too hard?

For anyone who doesn't have the album sampler, I've uploaded L.O.V.E. to YouTube from the mp3 I have:

I'm quite interested in her since she's bummed by the Brits, but "Do it like a dude" is basically an awful awful awful song. Doesn't care if it's supposed to be "funny" or a "parody", it's $h!t.
I can't make my mind up over whether I think that she's an utter cunt, or actually rather good.

She most certainly isn't a "cunt" :P. She's lovely in interviews and stuff, she just knows what she wants to do and so far, from what i've heard, she's doing it fantastically. Getting her name out there, with a buzz single as successful as 'Do It Like A Dude' (which has got people talking about her and basically doing well at getting her name out there) I think people will be surprised that someone "who made the vile 'Do It Like A Dude' could make something as good as 'Price Tag', 'Who You Are' etc..." I think she'll get a few of those comments come the release of her next single.

I'm personally still loving DILAD, but strangely I can see why it may not be to everyone's tastes. One things for sure, whether you hate her or love her, she will be big next year. I will be incredibly shocked if she "does a Little Boots".
