Even if the album doesn't make #1 this week, it should definitely have some fantastic sales.

Went to buy this in my local Tesco today, wasn't any on the shelfs, so I asked and apparently not getting another order until the 6th :manson:! What happened to the "100k shipped" or whatever? I doubt she's sold THAT much

Will be going HMV to get it and use my voucher instead then! :)

Great cover of a BRILLIANT song, I still can't understand why it's not top 40 in the UK yet...

I know people in this country seem to have a hatred to buying any rock/indie/alternative music at the moment but I do wish that they'd make an exception for Young Blood on the account of it being amazing.

I think I must be the only person who prefers Punching In A Dream. Young Blood is just a bit repetitive. I still like it but PIAD is better.

It's also great and similarly anthemic but I don't like it quite to the same level somehow. I saw Young Blood soundtracking a Skins advert the other day, which is apt as it's the very purpose that it sounds like the song was written to fulfill

True

I do say to people that position doesn't mean anything

I adore her Naked & The Famous cover, I'm understanding a bit better now why everyone ranted forever and ever about her good her voice is. I particularly liked the Quagmire 'giggi-giggi yeah' note towards the end.

She came across very well and very likeable in the interview aswell. She's actually very endearing.

I am pretty much loving every single track now  And the variety is so great. For example, 'Do It Like A Dude' & 'Big White Room' are just so different from each other. There are other examples ('Who's Laughing Now' stands out as being a bit different), but I see that as the most obvious one. Didn't like the fact BWR was live at first, warmed to it now though.

Really loving it now.

That Naked & Famous cover is exceptional! :o One listen in and it's already one of my favourite Live Lounge covers! (The Jessie J loon mode I'm currently in has decided that for me at the moment! ha!)

She really has one of the best personalities in pop at the moment. So down to earth and relateable.

Her cover of 'Young Blood' is absolutely stunning too - made me like the original song too!

VEVO LIFTS Presents:

'Mama Know's Best':

'Do It Like A Dude':

"I'm going to buy you a new one, I PROMISE!"

"I WHIP MA HAIR BACK AND FORTH"

'Nobody's Perfect':

Wow. NP sounds so good with a live band! :o And 'Mama Knows Best', probably my least favourite on the album, however, it sounds pretty amazing live! OH I REALLY SHOULD GET TICKETS TO SEE HER! She has so much energy and stage presence! She's amazing.

IN. L.O.V.E. LOVE.

EDIT:

'Price Tag':

 It's strange listening to a live version of this song that isn't just Jessie and a guitar  It's brilliant though  Seriously loving this song. Still not bored of it!

Not blown away by the album as a whole Ill be honest. I definitely agree with some people here about her being FAR too screechy on some tracks, especially Nobodys Perfect. Cant believe its going to be single #3! :puke2: Surely the logical choice is Who You Are? i mean its going to be top 40 this week alone....do record companys not listen to the fans anymore?

Anyway, theres a few quality tracks on here such as Who You Are, Do It Like a Dude, Price Tag and Abracadabra (even if it is just Teenage Dream 2  ) so id say its a strong debut, but it doesn't live up to the hype for me!

I think they might change their minds to release 'Who You Are' next to be honest, getting the best reception. They should just wait and release 'Nobody's Perfect' as the 4th single, although ideally they'd go for 'Rainbow' or 'Abracadabra' instead.

I think they will release 5 singles:

1. Do It Like A Dude

2. Price Tag

3. Nobodys Perfect (Beginning of May)

4. Abracadabra (August)

5. Who You Are (November)

I think she will save 'Who You Are' for near the end of the year so she can do it with an X Factor performance as Simon Cowell has already said that he is her biggest fan and even said a couple of days before the X Factor Final this year that he wanted her to appear at the final but didn't ask her as he felt she wasn't a big enough name yet so there is no way he wont have her on this year at least once. I actually think that 'Who You Are' would be good with an X Factor performance as, even though it may not get top 10 due to it being old by then (e.g. The Silence) but it will show off her voice amazingly so it could get her some new fans and boost her album massively.

Yeah, if they insist on releasing Nobodys Perfect next, then that is def the ideal single release strategy I would choose too :)

I missed this off from last night;

Quite possibly my favourite performance of WYA, yet! The vulnerability and her feeling over whelmed when they sang it back to her is what made that performance! Absolutely breath taking!

also, 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' performance

After this performance, my sister asked me for a copy of her album for her and asked me to do one for one of her friends too! Hopefully it made other people think a similar way but buy the album instead
