August 17, 201115 yr Quite diverse additions this week. Cee Lo again? And straight onto the Radio 2 A-List as well, the BBC seem to be loving him although each subsequent single is less interesting than the last :( Nice to see Laura Marling added and I guess Rihanna and One Direction were predictable but I love those songs too
August 18, 201115 yr A-List Bruno Mars - Marry You Bruno can do no wrong with this era it seems, another #1? David Guetta featuring Taio Cruz & Ludacris - Little Bad Girl Really hope titanium is next, screaming for a release! This is catchy though. Emeli Sande - Heaven Wretch 32 featuring Josh Kumra - Don't Go Both getting good support, I still think Heaven could come up from behind and get that #1 though by Sunday. Calvin Harris - Feels So Close Olly Murs featuring Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat Going to be a close battle between these two, I think though Olly will get his second #1. Ed Sheeran - You Need Me, I Don't Need You Example - Stay Awake Again another close battle when these both are out, cant call it :o Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now Happy to see Jessie being supported, possibly another top 10? I'd say low top 10 if it does make it, as long as it keeps album up too they'd be happy with that. B-List Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts Leona Lewis / Avicii - Collide Pixie Lott - All About Tonight The Saturdays - All Fired Up So all getting supported, nice to see! I think it'll be a close one, especially with Example & Ed too :o Going to be an unpredictable week.. C-List * Aloe Blacc - Green Lights * Rihanna - Cheers (Drink To That) Glad Aloe has a new single being supported, wonder if he will steer away from one hit wonder? and ofcourse Rihanna being supported. :) Edited August 18, 201115 yr by Karma
August 18, 201115 yr Another extremely uninteresting week. 'Otis' and 'Cheers (Drink To That)' are both good so that's a plus. 'Sophia' is alright but I much prefer the singles from 'I Speak Because I Can'. Haven't heard the SBTRKT song yet but the other material I've heard from him is great. Not at all interested in any of the new additions, especially 'Cash & Carry Me Home' which is absolutely awful :puke: Good to see Bombay Bicycle Club, Skrillex and The Vaccines up to the A-List even if none of them stand a chance of going top 40. Also pleased about all of the songs climbing to the B-List - I haven't heard all of them (am yet to hear 'Atlas Hands', 'Arlandria', 'Helena Beat' and 'Days Are Forgotten') but I like the rest and those 4 are by artists I've consistently liked in the past - well, it's a bit wrong to say 'consistently' regarding Foster The People as 'Pumped Up Kicks' is the only thing I've heard from them! Very pleased to see Avicii now being credited on Collide.
August 19, 201115 yr I think it's a little early for the sugababes yet. They need r1 on board for this campaign. It's a shame that they have completely ignored Nicola Roberts, but I guess not surprising as they ignored Nadine too.
