Not a surprise really... Calvin has been dropping like a brick over the last couple of days.

Not really, I just had a look at the pop bars and Calvin is still miles ahead of #4 (~75% to ~50.9%), Maroon 5 have just had a huge increase for some reason

Set Fire to the Rain might get only a few hours in the top 10 again, like it did the last time it got in.

I agree, it will probably overtake Little Bad Girl, but what with Ed, Example and James Morrison out tonight, it will struggle to hold on :(

The Maroon 5 track has not been that 'well known' to the public, so what with the increased air and tv play and more buzz around it, it's given it a bigger boost...

A boost of at least 30%, probably more though? Not sure about that. It must have been used somewhere.

That Adele song that that guy did on X Factor is in the top 200, but it's the original Brandi Carlisle version because the Adele version was only on the HMV version of the album.

I honestly don't think it has, from what I can remember? It was used on Xtra Factor like an hour ago, but wouldnt have had that effect anyway, and its boost was before an hour ago. Mabye it is just the weekend boost?

nope, just increase in popularity...it happens

The climb of Moves Like Jagger seemed quite expected to me tbh. It's obviously going to hang around for a while, since the song isn't that well-known yet.

(I'll type the framework for a top 100 update for today at 11:30, there may be one from the usual 8pm tomorrow as I'm not sure if I'm even going to go to the Festival again tomorrow)

(I really wish my Print Screen button would start working again though because then I wouldn't have to do any typing )

Well, I forgot to do this as ever, so it'll be from 11:59 again. (I probably won't even post these 2 updates but if I post one tomorrow the positions from the previous day will be from 11:59)

2011: The year Britney fans got excited when she made the top 100. Barely.

2011 is also the first year that she's gotten 2 US #1s. :kink:

The second one was only by a technicality of the US chart and it wouldn't have counted as one if it happened here though.

And by that technicality IIRC its chart run was 1-out. NOT GREAT.

Till the World Ends got to number one in the end? I thought it peaked at three... unless you mean pop radio? ANYWAY WOO SMASH.

Edit: S&M.

ANYWAY WOO SMASH.

The other was 'S&M' - as Billboard credits it to the highest selling version, Britney was credited on it in its sole week at #1, but the Rihanna-only version was outselling it again within a week.

So the chart run of Rihanna ft. Britney Spears - S&M was 1-OUT. Still a #1 though.

About Till the World Ends, it's actually outsold Hold It Against Me, and spent 9 weeks in the top 10, so I'd consider that a success.

I think Just the Way You Are might've been used on the X Factor, since it's back up to #80.

Britney hasn't had too disastrous an era in general in the States, she's just flopping horribly here. We'll just see how she does with the next album.
