Cover Drive are obviously benefiting from the looted I-Tunes vouchers :D

At least looting the vouchers is preventing piracy for now then. :P

Example's really close to number 1 now, he should get it, I think (as someone said on the other page) the Bank Holiday may be affecting the new releases (I believe Gettin' Over You was released over a Bank Holiday weekend and climbed quite slowly before getting to number 1 on Wednesday)

If someone looted a voucher, they'd get a grand total of nothing from it! I doubt a "looter" would be willing to wait around in a queue to get £25 put on an iTunes voucher, only to run off before handing over the money.

ON TOPIC and I am hoping for an Ed Sheeran VICTORY this week, although it's look more and more unlikely currently; hopefully he out-peaks (or at least equals the peak of) 'The A Team', which I still don't "get"!

I know my place now.

O/T but this year's Children In Need single will be a remake of Massive Attack's Teardrop by N-Dubz, Chipmunk and various other urban artists, put together by Gary Barlow. I imagine Tulisa will just sing the part of Elizabeth Fraser with added raps thrown in.

Cue music snobs...

Well I Got Soul sounded ok, so there IS hope.
They should've done a more poppy and/or more recent song imo. It's just going to end up in massive discussions about "murdering the original", and all that stuff that usually happens.

Yeah, I'm sure it won't sound that bad (I'll probably like it ) but people always complain about murdering the song. The only thing wrong with that is that they have to have to get the original artist's permission anyway, so if they're fine with it then everyone else was should get over it!

Well, at least it's not the bloody X Factor Finalists covering it! :manson: I think it could be interesting, obviously I'd need to hear it first

Someone Like You back  to #39, possibly due to talk of her performance on the VMA's last night (same impact as Brits performance!)

Rolling in the Deep  3 too to #47, won 3 awards last night! :D

3 new songs top 10, we're getting a lot of new entries each week, same for next week too i'm sure all 3 will go top 10 too.

At least it's not Unfinished Sympathy they're 'ruining' (although I don't think this is going to be that awful anyway).

Oh God.

On the plus side, can it really be much worse than Newton Faulkner's version of it? Actually it probably can!

Newton Faulkner's version isn't great but I do like José González's.

I really hope Maroon 5 manage to get to number 1! Are they slipping or is Example gaining on them?

Example has overtaken them now and will be #1 very shortly. I think they're still gaining on Olly though.

"Love on Top" by Beyoncé is  to #141.

And #11 on US iTunes! :o

She should release it as her next single tbh. Although filming a music video might be difficult for her now.

She's already filmed a video for it, and it'll probably be the next single, along with "Party", in the US.
