Why - how many albums is she planning to release this year? :P

Depends how you define 'miss'?

Already leaked as well, which isn't going to help.
She will mostly rely on her hardcore fans to buy it, it will sneak Top 30 and drop out of Top 75 altogether two weeks later.
I doubt it will do well but its actually her best material in years. I havent bought the last 2 albums but will be getting this one.
Its gonna flop :( which is a shame because she has a superb voice and it sounds like a fab album.

So, where will the second dozen sales come from then? :P

might just creep into the top 40 baring in mind nero went number 1 selling just 30k this week.

sales will be poor tho.

Surely it will go top 40, what with the low sales. It will drop quickly though, and will probably only sell like 10k overall :(

Hopefully this will be top 40 (wishful thinking top 20)

'Beautiful Intentions' debuted at 24 with a Top 10 single (Next Best Superstar)

'This Time' debuted at 57 with a Top 25 cover single (I Want Candy)

Based on this, and taking in count that 'Think About It' is a lot better than 'I Want Candy', 'The Sea' should be able to get Top 40 at least!

Probably debut somewhere between #25-#40, and then only just scrape the Top 75 the following week, then fall somewhere in the middle of #101-#200 and then out :(
I'd be fairly pleased if she went Top 30, that's about as high as my expectations go. If she went higher than that I'd be thrilled!
If Beverley Knight can fart out a covers album and go top 10 I see no reason why Melanie can't do just as well.
