Right, I was going to hold this back but after spending pretty much all day listening to it I don't think I can any longer, because I think this might possibly be my track of the year - imagine an ABBA comeback if they got New Order, Depeche Mode and The XX on board with Robyn and The Sounds influences and you basically understand why I'm so ridiculously in love with this! Anyway, I'll let the music do the talking, I have a feeling this Norwegian duo will be HUGELY popular on here.

They used to be called The Micropops and released a rather decent album and a few singles, but this is actually AMAZING and better than almost everything that came before.

That said, I think it's brilliant lies in it so effortlessly referencing thirty years of tearful electro without ever ripping any of it off...

Surely this really belongs in the pop forum. Seems very pop to me (but then I am one of the most trad indie posters on here!)

If Florence and Marina are in here I don't see why this shouldn't be. They cite The xx and jj as amongst their main influences...

Oh, and by the way it would be brilliant if any of you with blogs covered this, seriously obsessed with this - no word of a lie I've listened to this over 100 times in the last day. SO GOOD.

It's good, but I don't see why everyone is going mad for it. :( And this will probably be veto'd from BJSC if this song progresses anymore in popularity.
