zobbel.de hasn't posted AFAICS that Marcus Collins' 'Mercy' ever went top 200 so unless someone with a C+ subscription (or someone that's more observant if I'm just not seeing it on zobbel) can confirm otherwise it's not going on the list.

Lucy Spraggan's entries will be added when/if she's officially announced as a finalist.

Updated with 'Wings' which becomes the 29th X Factor artist #1 and makes Little Mix the sixth XF act to get 2 or more #1s (after 2 for One Direction, 3 each for Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis and Olly Murs and 6 for JLS). One Direction's 'Live While We're Young' is probably a foregone conclusion for the 30th XF #1 on its release.

Amelia actually came damn close to beating 1D to the 30th XF act #1 but instead provides the 7th XF act #2 (and as per that post becomes the 26th act or 30th including ensembles to make the top 40).

 

On the albums Joe McElderry becomes the first act to chart 4 albums anywhere in the top 200 and the second act after JLS to get 3 top 10 albums. However, by entering at #8 it's the lowest peaking top 10 album by an XF act, 'beating' the #7 peak of Marcus Collins' debut earlier this year.

Added Lucy Spraggan's three top 200 singles and her album, as she's now confirmed as a finalist.

 

Also added two chart albums by Jonathan Ansell, a member of G4 who went solo - if there are any other members of XF groups that charted with solo material that I've missed out please do mention it :P

Leona Lewis feat. Childish Gambino - Trouble (the first song by an XF protégé to peak at #7, so every position between #1 and #14 were covered...)

Rebecca Ferguson - Backtrack (...and this is the first song by an XF protégé to peak at #15 so #1-#16 are now all covered, only #17 and #19 to go until there's a complete top 20 set :P)

Leona Lewis - Glassheart (second XF act to place three top 3 albums, will JLS get a fourth on their release though?)

DNA will probably go number 1, Troublemaker will go top 2, just depends on Girls Aloud on if it'll be number 1.

I know this is a thread for finalists but 2 non finalists who deserve a mention Lauren Bennett who made it to Bootcamp and featured on the 5 million selling 'Party Rock Anthems' and Nicole Jackson who made it to the Judges houses in 2009 and featured on Redlight's #18 hit 'Get Out My Head'

I never knew Lauren Bennett auditioned on X Factor! :o How weird. :lol: Well, she managed to get a successful pop career and to be signed to Interscope without it anyway, so... :lol:

 

Starboy Nathan is now an X Factor auditionee aswell. :lol: I assume he hasn't got through to the finals, since I'm sure someone would've mentioned it. :(

He didn't make it past the judges house - When i first saw him on XF i was like :blink: :o , I saw him several times when he supported The Wanted on tour and had to strip each night to get some interest in the track he was trying to flog at the time :lol:

Vince Kidd (was in X Factor group Futureproof back in 2007, and was a finalist in The Voice earlier this year) is releasing his Sick Love EP on November 4th; I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't chart. He also charted at 97 with Like A Virgin and number 134 with Always On My Mind (both covers released off the back of The Voice series earlier this year).

:lol: Thought so - Feel sorry for the girls though seems they are destined to never be in a successful girlband!

 

Added 'Hottest Girl In The World'. JLS break the tie Leona created with 'Trouble' and are once again the XF act with the most top 10 hits as the lead artist (HGITW bringing their total to 10 plus 'Wishing On A Star' as a feature).

I remember hearing some rumours about that Pheobe from Hope which I won't repeat on here.

Matt Cardle's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face charted at 92 this week*. Not sure if the single "It's Only Love" made the top 200, though.

Frankie Coccoza releases his single this week... it could actually miss the Top 200 though!

Added Matt Cardle. 'It's Only Love' did go top 200 (#175), so he now has 6 top 200 hits - more than Steve, Leon and Joe at least :P He becomes the 7th XF act to get more than one top 10 album, of the other six only Joe McElderry also hasn't had a #1 album.

 

Interestingly before this year no XF act albums* peaked between #7 and #10, but 'The Fire' is now the third of the year after Marcus' debut got #7 and Joe's last album also got to #8.
