Falls to 33 from 29 this week in the US and is down to 42 on iTunes...its a shame that this is flopping yet You and I was able to go top 10, i dont want her to release another single off this album as i don't think it will do any better regardless of what she picks.
Not today only. I got them about 3 days ago for free.

Oh... I see it was posted here on the 22nd lol.

WELL it's apparently iTunes' 3rd day of Christmas gift!

Strange that it's doing far better over here despite "You and I" seemingly killing the era whereas it did alright in the US. Promotion obviously is a big part of it.

Yeah that's a bit cheeky of them. It's hardly a bloody gift, if it's been free to everyone for over a week. Cheeky buggers.

False advertising RAH RAH RAH, as I so often get in my ear -_-

Marry the night back 5 places this week to number 26, should easily pass 100,000 uk sales now, hopefully 120,000+ in total though eventually.

Great!

How much is it on atm?

Is there a site that tells us updated sales info??

Apparently, Interscope have removed 'Marry The Night' from radio.

EDIT: It's official, they have. -_-

From Radio in the UK?

I'm urging Gaga to get a clean break from this era. Throw away ALL black outfits. Take a bath in something other than Cheerios and come back with a proper banger. Hopefully she takes advice from her label. Her artistic freedom will only get limited by dwindling success.

Just radio in the US, I believe.

Shame. 'Marry The Night' had hit written all over it. It should've been the first single instead of 'Born This Way'.

Ouch that sux, but I can understand why, it just isn't clicking with the public, and her performance of it on new years eve didn't do much for it either and that was probably its last chance.

So they've removed it from radio so that her Little Monsters have something to go on as soon as anyone dares to suggest it was a flop (despite it going next to nowhere in the US even before the removal). Fantastic idea. :drama:

They have this era completely messed up. MTN is NOT 5th single material. It's 2nd or at the very LEAST 3rd single material. BTW was obviously the right lead choice (despite it dividing opinion) it broke records and stuff. 'Edge of Glory' should have followed (with the video 'You & I' got, instead of the one it did eventually get! <_<) and launched the album. Then 'Marry the Night' 3rd with 'Scheiße', 'Judas' and 'Hair' following. (Providing she wanted to release 6 singles etc...) I would have chosen 'The Edge of Glory', 'Bloody Mary' & 'Heavy Metal Lover' as the album countdown promotional singles.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN:

1.Born This Way

2.Edge Of Glory

3.Scheiße

4.You & I (USA) / Hair (UK)

5.Judas

I hated 'BTW' at first, but it has grown on me majorly and I appreciate it's message... even though the video still dilutes it a bit for me. 'You And I' was a great choice for the USA, it opened her up to a brand new audience, especially here in Georgia (lulz). 'Hair' is great too, but I think it wouldn't do as well in the USA as it would internationally... both are mid tempo so it works. Close it out with 'Judas', because I still stand by the point it's an amazing song but maybe it was too much to release a song about Judas around the same time as Easter. 'Marry The Night' is GOOD, but I feel there are much better commercial choices on the album. If there were a sixth single... make it 'Government Hooker'.

KKTHANKS.

^I Kinda agree with you

1. Born This Way in Feb

2. Edge of Glory in May (Judas + Bloody Mary as promo singles)

3. You And I (US) / Hair (Worldwide) in Aug

4. Marry The Night in Dec

5. Scheisse in Mar 2012

6. Americano in Jun 2012
