No, they're decreasing in comparison to Pixie but they are increasing their own sales. Someone worked out the formular earlier (I think).

So iTunes have a tendency to list artists alphabetically? So it's not a human error then..

I think I worked it out correctly. I applied Spiideys theory to it where you divide the previous update by the current update then -100% which should give you the a % of how much it's climbed/fallen.

It'd be alot more helpful if iTunes actually updated more than once per three hours.

agreed... refresh buttons wearing out! been v slow tonight!

01. Pixie 100&

02. Sats 78%

03. M5 74%

LivePopBars may be doing that thing again where it keeps flicking inbetween different stats like last night.

If that's true then Pixie has #1 in the bag as her lead is pretty decent now and she still has promo lined up. Maroon 5 are catching up on The Sats as well.

2nd adventure u got it the wrong way round! :P

It's "current update / previous update then -100%"

That gives the Sats and Maroon 5 decreasing by 1% and 1.1% respectively compared to Pixie.

Maroon 5's second version appears to have vanished, must have been deleted. I really hope this doesn't cause the first version to suddenly have another huge spike but it's fairly inevitable isn't it

Looks like 'Moves Like Jagger' will be up to #2 soon if them popbars are right! Wonder if it can be back at #1 by the end of the week? :o

not sure how much u can really tell from the popbar numbers... its all dependent on whats going on with #1, increase / decrease, and the rate that they are increasing or decreasing... but we dont have that information :-S i suppose they can give a general feel for whether someone has has a good or bad update, but thats about all i think :-)

U can tell exactly from livepopbars who's increasing/decreasing relative to all other songs in the top 100

U can also tell how much an artist is selling by comparing it to the sales of the #100 or #75 or #40, which are usually very consistent week on week within a 10-12 week period and therefore the relativities of a track against that benchmark makes it really easy to work out how much .e.g. The #1 will sell in the Tuesday mids

2nd adventure u got it the wrong way round! :P

It's "current update / previous update then -100%"

That gives the Sats and Maroon 5 decreasing by 1% and 1.1% respectively compared to Pixie.

Ahh maths was never my strongest point

Thanks for the correction!

I predict exactly the same thing will happen as last week - Maroon 5 start at #4 in the mids (I think Leona may be ahead in the first mids) and finish #2 after getting to #1 on iTunes by the end of the week, but just too late to get #1 officially. Maroon 5 fans better keep their fingers crossed as this is almost certainly their last chance at the #1 spot unless their sales are somehow still strong enough for #1 in any potential quiet weeks after One Direction/Dappy.

Completely agree that this is Maroon 5's last chance of #1. I'd imagine Maroon 5 will overtake The Sats in the next day or so. IF Pixie is still #1 by Thursday night then it probably will be #1 on Sunday but I'm almost certain Maroon 5 will catch up with Pixie by the weekend on itunes at least. I am actually surprised that Pixie isn't more ahead and its only gained 1% on Maroon in the last few hours, would suggest Maroon could even begin catching up in the next day or so.

Does anyone know how big the gap got between Maroon 5 and Example?

I think everyone is overlooking the biggest news of the week...

644 ¬ Wynter Gordon — "Til Death (Denzal Park Radio Edit)"

or Danza Kuduro, summer smash across Europe and somewhere around 400 on uk itunes......

Its definitely alphabetical order on the crediting for Collide, everywhere else its Leona Lewis / Avicii, i was a little bothered at first but its really not important, also having Avicii on the track I see as a little advantage as everyone interested in upbeat/club sound music will know of him preview the song and then hopefully appeal to even more people & fans. :D

#4 is great, and from the latest pop bars she looks more comfortable at #4 now then the last last update so all good. :)
