It's obviously reverting, I seen it on twitter as well, I hope it was just a iTunes mistake.
I would be very surprised if The Sats were falling that fast to drop to 3 already!
I dont think it was all the loons so stop trying to cause another arguement. Im hardly a loon and I expected it to be number one becuase its Leona and she normally have the Simon Cowell promotion team behind it

Surely this is the reason why she ISN'T going to get to #1?

Apart from the default X-Factor performance SyCo seem to be really shit with their artists, especially after the first album. How did they let the Avicii case happen at all is still beyond my understanding.

And it's quite weird that 'Natural Disaster' doesn't do anything on iTunes! :o

What's this Avicii case / Aviciigate?

01. Pixie (100%)

02. The Sats (81.1%) (+1.01 movement)

03. Maroon 5 (75.1%) (+1.00 movement)

Movement calculated by Last update / by current update - 100%.

I don't think they would have let Avicii take the lead on Leona's single if SyCo were in the right. They were clearly in the wrong which has damaged this singles reputation.

Bloody Pixie Lott just tweeted she's on Lorraine tomorrow :( More boost!

01. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight

02. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 81.1%

03. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger 75.1%

If Saturdays can remain ahead of Maroon 5 until Thursday I think they should remain 2nd come Sunday which would be amazing, But Well done to Pixie for grabbing her 3rd number one, I don't think Maroon 5 will catch her now, especially with Pixie away to promote. I still think Pixie & Saturdays will have at least 5 weeks in top 10! I am so proud of The Saturdays, just wished Pixie had not performed on Red or Black as I believe Saturdays would have been comfortably ahead at number 1 especially with the number 1 boost.

04. Leona Lewis - Collide 47.5% (Already decreasing)

05. Example - Stay Awake 44% (Combined Example is 4th)

The instrumental of the song was accused of being plagarised from Avicii's track Penguin (they do sound quite similar) and so the case whether Leona can release or not went to court. She won but had to credit Avicii to be able to release.

"Sound quite similar" ? It IS the exact same instrumental. Leona's label used it without the full consent of Avicci apparently, that's why now they have to tag and credit Aviccii on the track, and Leona ends up looking like a feature on it.

I think Leona's percentage per these updates has decreased less than all the other songs around her (in the last few updates that ive seen)... and assuming these popbars are on an indexed comparative to whoever is number 1, that means if she is decreasing its at a slower rate than the others, or she may still be increasing, simply at a slower rate than pixie! either way, im quite happy with leonas last few updates :-)

Ah thanks Liam. Didn't know about that.

Ben, Liam answered you. :P

They were obviously wrong but I was talking how they let the song with "dirty" crediting make the album, let alone be the first single from new era (sic!).

I thought that the court didn't happen after all, and the sides agreed on everything just before it?

Remember Leona got the EP and other versions charting aswell! B-)

I somehow want Leona to be at #5, not at #4, as 'Stay Awake' has grown on me after I had listened to Example's album, and I don't want it to plummet too much.

They didn't actually get to court in the end up, they ended up with a mutual decision before it went to court. And it is exactly the same song

The instrumentals aren't just similar, they're exactly the same (like Happiness and Brazil Second Edit)!! I read an interview where Avicii said that he had no idea they would use exactly the same instrumental. He said he thought they would just sample one of the melodies from it or something. So he clearly did know about it before, but he wasn't fully informed as to how his song was used (at least that's what he said, unless Avicii was lieing about it).
Remember Leona got the EP and other versions charting aswell! B-)

Which is also applicable to all 3 artists in this battle. All have EPs in the iTunes album chart and have various versions of the tracks floating around in the Top 500 etc.

It sounds like they knew they were in the wrong all along and feared that they'd be completely sued or what not in court so resolved it mutually instead. Givng Avicii lead on the track though pretty much confirms there were communiction breakdowns (Leona tweeting that they'd done nothing wrong etc etc etc) which lead to SyCo believing they had the rights to the instrumental or what not. Maybe this was planned all along? It could have well been because if SyCo knew they had a case to fight and believed they were in the right they would have taken it to court - however beacuse they resolved it mutually and gave Aivii lead it makes me wonder whether it was a big publicity stunt. Didn't get them very far though did it (.. so far)!
