September 7, 201114 yr Yay for Marina!! :D :D Really hope it can be huge for her! Surprised they're backing that awful RD song though ... Edited September 7, 201114 yr by Jack
September 7, 201114 yr Interesting to see Adam Levine playlisted, no doubt because they love Gym Class Heroes/Travie. I wonder if Moves Like Jagger is only being ignored because of Christina's involvement on it

I wonder if Moves Like Jagger is only being ignored because of Christina's involvement on it  They didn't playlist 'Misery' either though did they? So I don't know if that's the case :P
September 7, 201114 yr I'm liking the new format! Especially how you've put which of the lists a song's gone out from! Surprised they haven't playlisted J-Lo's 'Papi' yet? I wonder if they're gonna snub it?
September 7, 201114 yr I have a feeling with Papi the record label are doing that thing where they postpone the release date, or cancel it altogether, but don't actually tell anyone until the last second. :drama: Like they did with Bass Down Low about 5 times.

Its still not available for pre-order so it wouldn't surprise me

I wonder if Moves Like Jagger is only being ignored because of Christina's involvement on it  Maybe they're just being stubborn and refusing to accept defeat over it, sort of like they did with 'Hips Don't Lie'. This is almost the modern day version of that in terms of being such a surprise smash actually...
September 7, 201114 yr I didn't realise they weren't playlisting MLJ, don't get me wrong, I don't knock them, but it does seem rather strange  great for Coldplay, I need to hear it
September 7, 201114 yr So Ghostpoet is off the playlist the same week it's made Weekend Anthem? Radio One are amazing.
September 8, 201114 yr :cheer: for James Morrison, though I'm still quite pessimistic about his chart success.
September 8, 201114 yr :cheer: for James Morrison, though I'm still quite pessimistic about his chart success. With the latest success of Will Young and his popularity from the last era as well as radio support from Heart, R1 & 2, Capital plus lots of video plan and promotion. I reckon James could unquestionably have the same success but we'll see.
September 8, 201114 yr I love how Radio 1 playlist Gym Class Heroes Ft Adam Levine yet ignore Levines band Maroon 5. Bit strange but I guess they have gone in such a new direction they feel M5 are past it so can't be arsed and ignore it.
September 8, 201114 yr Sugababes still not playlisted :s Nope. Not really suprising. They might as well give up. I like Freedom but it's not going to do much for them really.
September 8, 201114 yr Sugababes are DONE. It was clear a week or two ago they'd missed their last chance to be playlisted, watch this single limp into the top 30 and never be heard of again. Edited September 8, 201114 yr by Silver Rocket
September 8, 201114 yr Chad Valley. :o I almost used 'Up and Down' as my Unknown Pleasures song back in May.
September 8, 201114 yr Can anyone tell me why James Morrison automatically gets A listed on radio one AND two, along with numerous commercial radio stations, when Will Young has to fight for radio play beyond radio 2? I would say Jealousy is much more radio one material than James's new and somewhat dull song is. For the record I also think James song rips off 'Why' by Annie Lennox.
