Maybe they're just being stubborn and refusing to accept defeat over it, sort of like they did with 'Hips Don't Lie'. This is almost the modern day version of that in terms of being such a surprise smash actually...

I didn't realise they weren't playlisting MLJ, don't get me wrong, I don't knock them, but it does seem rather strange :unsure: great for Coldplay, I need to hear it

With the latest success of Will Young and his popularity from the last era as well as radio support from Heart, R1 & 2, Capital plus lots of video plan and promotion. I reckon James could unquestionably have the same success but we'll see.

 

I love how Radio 1 playlist Gym Class Heroes Ft Adam Levine yet ignore Levines band Maroon 5. Bit strange but I guess they have gone in such a new direction they feel M5 are past it so can't be arsed and ignore it.

Nope. Not really suprising. They might as well give up. I like Freedom but it's not going to do much for them really.

Coldplay is only from Monday... they will premiere it.

Sugababes are DONE. It was clear a week or two ago they'd missed their last chance to be playlisted, watch this single limp into the top 30 and never be heard of again.

I almost used 'Up and Down' as my Unknown Pleasures song back in May.

Can anyone tell me why James Morrison automatically gets A listed on radio one AND two, along with numerous commercial radio stations, when Will Young has to fight for radio play beyond radio 2? I would say Jealousy is much more radio one material than James's new and somewhat dull song is. For the record I also think James song rips off 'Why' by Annie Lennox.
