Album is October 31st so I'd hazard a guess at October 24th for Shake It Out.

23rd October I'd hope, as the 24th is a Monday.

This might be an iTunes mistake (as they are both next to each other) but Party All Night (Sleep All Day) is back up to 99p and Jealousy has gone down to 59p. Hopefully Will can get another week in the top 10!
Katy Perry's new single is "The One That Got Away". Not sure how big it will be here, and it may break the #1 chain in the US

She really needs to move on now. TOTGO is not going to be big unless she can replicate the amazing video of LFN(T.G.I.F.).

Gosh. WHY isn't she releasing Peacock?!

I agree. Peacock is the last song on the album that has a chance of continuing her US #1 streak I think.

I'd love a music video to it. It's quite current aswell. Like an electropop version of Hey Mickey. :D They'd have to edit it a lot for radio aswell...

I think it's quite refreshing for someone to keep selling the same album without whacking on a few new tracks!

True. I don't think she's going to re-release it, at all, actually. After this album I think she'll just move onto the next one. Probably because her album has sold bucket-loads (more than I ever dreamed it would! :o) already, so it's not like it needs a re-release, and, probably the main reason they might not do a re-release is because they know she'll get more popular if they don't.

If she had chosen to release Peacock, a bad thing about that would've been everybody thinking she'd copied S&M. Of course, Peacock actually came out before S&M, but a lot of people won't know that.

Her album hasn't sold that much...

I'd call that a successful album! :o

True, although the single version of E.T is different to the album version, which doesn't feature Kanye West.

The single version of E.T. also has a slightly faster tempo than the album version.

Not that anybody cares. Just thought I'd mention.

No, I'm not arguing that it isn't successful! But it hasn't sold by the bucketload either. 2x Platinum isn't that special in the UK. Selling by the bucketload is LOUD, Teenage Dream has just sold quite well. I want her to re-release, she could easily add another Platinum certification in both the US and the UK.

The single version of E.T. also has a slightly faster tempo than the album version.

I don't think I'm the sort of person that would have heard both versions.
