A shame for Britney fans that the iTunes pop chart means absolutely nothing. Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' is #1 on iTunes... on the country chart.

I think they should do better now that we get them earlier (although this will be counter-acted by the fact that it'll get less viewers now). I think a lot of the hype for the songs from last series died out by the time they got released and promoted here. And Glee Cast were VERY unlucky last season I think. I'm sure 4 or 5 of their songs peaked at #11 on iTunes.

 

I'm excited to see what songs they cover. Although, strangely enough, it seemed like sometimes last season the actual songs benefitted more than the Glee Cast version (I think Turning Tables and Marry You charted higehr, for example).

Sak Noel is number 4 on the dance albums, number 32 overall :cheer:

Well both songs have been available since March, and they've basically had 0 airplay, so #99 on the 'Pop' charts 6 months later isn't the end of the world!

Disappointing to see Example's 'Stay Awake' falling so fast down the iTunes chart. It's climbed back to #20 following the removal of the fake 'Loca People' and still has a second version in the T40, but it's still going to take quite a tumble come Sunday.

 

Well to be fair, it is a mediocre song by his standards and compared to his last single...

Compared to 'Changed...' - yes. By his standards - maybe. Ultimately - no. :P I think it's a really good song, but I needed to listen to the album to "get" it.

Pleased Moves Like Jagger is back up to #2 :w00t: if the lead continues to extend throughout the week over OD/Jason Derulo it should stay at #2 officially. :D

I don't think that's true - it's on some songlists for tonight's US episode but it's not leaked nor has it been released to US (or UK) iTunes. It might be on a future ep, it's down on 'coming soon' songlists with apparently
