December 29, 201113 yr All Fired Up deserves so much success, but it had limited promotion and limited airplay. This was a smash waiting to happen, I mean had Rihanna released it she would be on around 700,000+ with this single. It's done well and It's good to hear it climbed to #108 and it will climb back into the top 100 this week. At least they have a 200,000 seller from this album. What a lot of people need to remember is the reason Headlines remained stable was due to Saturdays 24/7 and it was £3 during the Christmas period, I hope they reduce On Your Radar next month with a single that will be able to purchase for 59p-79p in order to have any success with On Your Radar, worrying times... worrying times.
January 1, 201213 yr I'm really pleased! :D I wanted 10 weeks in the Top 75 for it, and now it's managed it (only just! :o)
January 1, 201213 yr Top 75!!!! That's great, I wonder if it can stay there for another week?! This will definitely be over 200k eventually. (if not already)
January 1, 201213 yr Good to see them back in, hopefully their nexst single can return them to the top 10 again and get a few album sales along the way aswell.
January 1, 201213 yr I just love this single. :D I was walking home the other night, it was pitch black and I was walking along a country road and just hearing this full blast through my iPod was amazing. :D
January 1, 201213 yr Author It's probabbly done around 6-7k I'd say :) Fingers crossed for another week in the Top 100 next week! I think it's having a revival not just down to the 59p effect, but most likely New Year's parties. Edited January 1, 201213 yr by 2ndAdventure
January 2, 201213 yr An incredible 7,999 sold this week at #75! By my estimates that takes them up to a total of around 198,500.
January 2, 201213 yr I wish I had gifted it or something then it's be 8,000 :D But none the less INCREDIBLE!
January 2, 201213 yr That's really good sales considering it's only #75. :o Wouldn't that have got them top 40 in September/October?
January 2, 201213 yr That's really good sales considering it's only #75. :o Wouldn't that have got them top 40 in September/October? Top 50 I'd think :)
January 2, 201213 yr Author That's the boom in sales for you :) Always happens this time of year because people have gifted music or gave iTunes vouchers for Christmas. Great sales for a #75! Will clear 200k sales next week then. It's a shame because we're hyping the "they're going to pass 200k = Saturdays achivement" because 200k is quite easy to clear these days. :(
January 2, 201213 yr Author 200.5K total this week, according to vidcapper. :o Seven silver singles now. :D It's been over-estimated. No way had it sold 15k whilst out of the Top 100 in 5-6wks.
January 2, 201213 yr It's been over-estimated. No way had it sold 15k whilst out of the Top 100 in 5-6wks. Well it sold 8K this week and was just outside the top 100 last week, so yes, it's possible.
January 2, 201213 yr Pre-christmas week sales were really high even for the tracks at the lower end of the chart, therefore I think it may be possible that is sold that many when out of the top 100, especially the last week when it was at 101. So I'd guess it's sold more than 200k, or at least it's very close and will definitely pass it next week!
January 2, 201213 yr Author Well it sold 8K this week and was just outside the top 100 last week, so yes, it's possible. Yes but everyone's forgetting this "8k at #75" lark is not typical. It's the post Christmas gift card boom. It would have been lucky to have been selling 2k some weeks..
January 2, 201213 yr Yes but everyone's forgetting this "8k at #75" lark is not typical. It's the post Christmas gift card boom. It would have been lucky to have been selling 2k some weeks.. AFU has had several versions in the iTunes top 1000 ever since it was released. You can still sell a decent amount outside of the top 100. I think the sales barrier for the top 200 is 2K.
