I don't know, it was either a massive OCC cockup that they never acknowledged or it was infringing some OCC rule that resulted in a massive portion of its sales being disqualified.

Infact, I can't think of any B-sides that didn't chart in recent years. I always thought Umbrella didn't, but it turns out it did. Although I still can't understand why it charted about 65 places lower than it should've done (how can you go top 20 on iTunes and miss the top 100 officially?).

Oh. So I guess nobody knows the real reason. That's really annoying. A shame it had to happen to the best-selling B-Side of the past few years aswell.

They are a marketing dream for Cowell. A few years on them & he'll cast them aside for a newer as talentless model.

Well I know what you are trying to say, they appeal to the teens market but they aren't even fit in my opinion.

If Florence + The Machine got to #24 with pretty much only Wednesday-Saturday sales (and very few Tuesday sales) and a #9 iTunes peak, I'm sure Tony & Amy can go top 20 at least as they'll probably get much higher on iTunes.

Yeah as Bre said I think Tony & Amy once in top 10 will really benefit and could go as high as #4 possibly? and will at least make top 20 come Sunday, thats if they break top 10, which i think they will by tonight i'm sure.

On The Official Chart Update @onedirection are soaring to the top with nearly 100k sales.

So an increase of no.9 to no.6 for Joe McElderry? He will probably sell another 20k plus this week, he may increase to 120k this week.
