Posted September 17, 201113 yr How do you rate Madonna is she your favourite ever artist or act ? Or is she in your top 3, 5 or 10? Does this differ when she's not musically active? What other acts do you like / love ?.
September 17, 201113 yr Madonna is Top 3! Definetly Top 5 at the least! One of the best things that has happened to music! :heart: Other artists/bands I adore are Kylie, Girls Aloud, Michael Jackson, Gaga :D Anything pop really! :D

September 17, 201113 yr Favourite, not always my most listened to and I often go extended periods without listening to anything but I can't ever see her not being my favourite ever artist. Her body of work is amazing.
September 20, 201113 yr I think Madonna is #2 on my All Time Favourite Artists, behind Kylie Minogue. However, I always say Madonna is Queen of Pop and Kylie is Pop Princess, because it just makes sence :P Even though I always have, always will be a bigger Kylie fan than a Madonna fan :D
September 21, 201113 yr Madonna is a legend, I love her music her early work reminds me of my youth. She is an inspiration the movie about how she started in the industry is excellent and proves she was destined for greatness from the start.

September 22, 201113 yr Author Madonna is my favourite artist ever. I've grown up with her (I feel old now). Her music is excellent along with her attention to detail in her work is second to none she's paved the way for loads of female performers today. I have to play at least a few songs of hers each day (unless I'm dying from something lol). I'd do anything for her lol. I love artist / acts who are different but most of the ones I like are not mainstream (or not as they used to be) like Bjork (if you only ever listen to one of her songs try "Play Dead" it's awesome!!), Roisin Murphy (her moloko work is great definitely there live stuff) (check out Overpowered & Can't Not Contain This). I also have all of Sheryl Crow's albums (check out Light In Your Eyes).

October 8, 201113 yr She used to be No 1, I think a good album from her this time around would probably put her back there, Kylie and GA are naturally also in the top 10 but then I would put the Smiths in the top 10 along with George Michael (though he's been a disgrace since 2004 onwards).

April 15, 201213 yr Overall, I never really think of Madonna as one of my favourite artists, but I love the album Ray of Light and it's the only album I have by her. I like some other songs here and there too, from other albums, like Forbidden Love from Confessions and the Orbital mix of Bedtime Story, which was co-written by one of my favourite artists Björk.
