Accent are not just for the fancy lettering though! My ё defines the pronunciation as [Eh-lø-dahn], Kopečka's č is there for the same reasons too (č being [ch]), 'Fljótavík' is a genuine Icelandic word naming a cove.

Well, mine is there to er.. stress the pronounciation. So, it's [Say-eh-tah-na]. Or something, I'm no expert in accents. The é doesn't make too much difference, just emphasizes a stronger e or something. I think. Besides, Seyetana looked worse, but it sounded great when I came up with it, so I had to add an accent to get fancy.

That English amateur bitch, Cassie Graves, is quite good. Aaron, who has managed to dig her up from someplace, seems to know ALL singing (or not) black women / girls in the UK. Literally.

HA. Thanks. It's a bit of a funny/odd story actually, she's actually someone I've met a couple of times! (I think a few people on Buzzjack have actually) She's like a friend of a friend. She's unsigned, but I think she has a decent voice. It just never really occurred to send one of her songs. (mostly because it seems quite weird when it's someone you know in real life.)

I still think Hitstastic should send one of his own songs at some point! Not that it would be a first of course, Charis sent his own cover of Westlife's Amazing to the first contest :lol: I very nearly sent my own and Hits' 'LB9 vs. Hitstastic - Breathe' to the same contest but decided that putting my own stuff up for judging would be too painful a process to watch! It's one thing getting attached to your entries but it would be something altogether different when they're literally your own songs!

Close in terms of quality for me really although Semi 2 is let down by one dreadful song in a contest that otherwise caters quite nicely to my tastes!

I think my song is in the 6.5/10 which isn't bad :D

Considering I've usually only ever heard of like 2 songs prior to the contest, I'm shocked that I know 10 this time (or maybe because I put more effort into discovering songs this time).
