Oh right, its a '/' on the official cover, on radio playlists and when they show the video, maybe they thought they better change it too. Bit picky though. I think they should reduce it to 59p now like they did with Will Young's Jealousy, Jealousy was at #18/#19 then reduced to 59p look whats happened back in top 10!

A lot of held back-releases gaining momentum at the moment, including Gym Class Heroes, Matt Cardle, Professor Green / Emeli Sande, Labrinth / Tinie Tempah - to name a few.

Great to see the R1 support finally pushing 'Lighters' into the T10 - I had a bad feeling it might peak relatively low in comparison to US/Australia - as per Train and Lady Antebellum did in 2010.

Leona Lewis and the Saturdays certainly have dropped a lot this week - while the likes of 'Cannonball', 'Cheers (Drink to That)' and even 'Marry You' are holding strong. Both will register drops of about 7/8 places come Sunday, as will Example's 'Stay Awake' and Ed Sheeran's 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'. Bad times for UK artists.

Cannonball has been holding on strong until now, it's free falling in The Uk and I think could actually miss the top 10 come Sunday.

07. Bad Meets Evil - Lighters

14. Damien Rice - Cannonball

16. The Saturdays - All Fired Up :(

22. Nicole Scherzinger - Wet :cheer:

114. Nicola Roberts - Lucky Day!!

Lighters doing really well. It's a shame it wasn't released in 2010 though, when songs like Airplanes, Love the Way You Lie, Nothin' On You could be big hits. Slow rap songs with really meaningful lyrics with melodic hooks aren't really flavour of the moment anymore. Same applies other songs like Fly, I Need a Doctor and Coming Home, I think they would've all been bigger if they were released 12 months beforehand. Lighters still doing great though!
1+1 isin't really the greatest Beyonce song but I have no idea why it's flopping so hard. It's had good Television airplay but I guess the radio airplay is letting it down.
I just realised that this could be Leona Lewis's first album not to go to number one, she's releasing the same week as Rihanna.

458. She Ain't You - Chris Brown

Wonder if this will be another top twenty hit for him. It's not as good as the other three singles but still damn good in it's own right.

I doubt Damien will drop out of the top 10 by Sunday, I think he could stay #8. Disappointed at how quickly it's started to fall. Looks like it won't be the new MYFML/Fast Car. :(

Not sure how I feel about Lighters being top 10. It's decent enough but it hasn't really clicked properly with me yet. I'd definitely have preferred for Cannonball to stay top 10 over it. Looks like Marry You could be the first song to break Bruno's top 10 streak rather than Lighters then :o But I suppose Marry You could finally go top 10 if there's ever a music video for it.

I think it's a brilliant song too! And much better than Yeah 3x at least.

It won't do well though. It's the 4th single, and it's not the type of music the UK likes at the moment. It flopped in the US too. Such a good song though. Michael Jackson fans should like it.

The music video was also released about 4 months ago I think, which probably won't help.

It's not a single though, so it's nothing to worry about. It's just an album track with a music video, so if anything, it's actually doing very well! I agree though, it's a poor song. I don't like the way Beyonce wails in the song either "One plus one equal toooowhoooo-ah". :drama:

I don't think it's actually a single, it just has a video for some reason. I think we still don't know what the third 'proper' single from 4 will be. This era has generally been a bit of a mess.

Olly is also out that week so it's possible she'll have to settle for #3. But I suppose it depends on how the next singles from all 3 are received. Rated R only entered at #16 off the back of a massive album remember. Okay, so Loud is probably even bigger than GGGB and more recent than GGGB was at the time of Rated R's release, but still, I don't think #1 is a given for Rihanna's album just yet.

It was officially announced as 'Countdown' the other day. She is filming music videos for most of the songs on the album, like she did for B'Day, hence why 1+1 has one.

ah good countdown is my favourite :D

Was it? Ah. That's a good choice. I can't see it doing very well though to be honest. Maybe low top 10 at best.

Countdown is AMAZING! :D Such a good choice. A great song. Like a cross between My Wicked Heart by Diana Vickers and 4 Minutes by Madonna. 10, 9, 8, etc. EPIC!

Quite a lot of artists seem to be doing loads of music videos now. 50 Cent said he's going to do one for every song on his next album. Although I highly doubt he'll go through with that.

It sounds like a Generic Timbaland production of a rip off of an old rock song?

Most of the songs on 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' had music videos as well. But then that's because most of the songs on 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' were singles

Fakes

100. Loca People (What the F**k) - Lucky Lady

108. Stereo Hearts - Hits Now!

253. Stereo Hearts (Tribute to Gym Class Heroes [feat. Adam Levine]) - 2011 Music Hitz

264. Video Games (Tribute to Lana Del Rey) - The Tributers

282. Loca People - Sammy Nobel

642. Got 2 Luv U (Tribute To Sean Paul Ft Alexis Jordan) Performed By Cover Nation - Cover Nation

Correction. It sounds like a song which ripped off an old rock song which ripped off an even older rock song.

Very pleased about this. This song is absolutely fantastic!! I've been addicted to it the past few weeks. Can't stop listening to it. So good.
