Ah yes I thought it looked good too! I will certainly be watching, luckily Midsomer Murders finishes just before so it's all good.
Think this is going to be good. Joe Thomas and Jack Whitehall are in it, so I've high expectations!
Damn. Beat me to it. Really looking forward to this. C4 must have faith in this. Considering the subject matter and probably the main target audience you would think they would have put this on E4.

Thoughts?

So true to life for me, reminded me so much of my dysfunctional housemates last year. Loved the 'acts cool/fake to fit in' girl as well and cringing because I know I've done things like that in the past! Two or three laugh out loud moments too so I enjoyed it overall, nice mix of characters/storyline potential.

I quite liked it. I liked the general awkward feeling of the show probably because that is pretty much my life around people. Really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series plays out!

Really liked it.

Jack Whitehall plays the rah brilliantly. Some laugh out loud moments, and it is actually pretty true of University life (in a fiction world).

I recorded this to watch later, the first couple of minutes were pretty good though. Got distracted by setting up series links.
Completely forgot to mention... Emma Rigby !!! I hope we see more of her.
i thought this alright, i have faith it will get better as it goes on, being a big peep show fan i have high expectations anyway. seeing as i've never been a fresher at uni I can't relate to it, it didn't really have any laugh out loud momments like peep show or inbetweeners. some bits seemed pretty realistic, as in, i know people similar to those in the show.
Watched this last night and thought it was rather good... Looking forward to seeing the new episode, tomorrow night I think.

I'm officially loving this, the second episode was hilarious/brilliant :D

It's pretty much par for the course for critics to write off everything new based on the first episode so hopefully the reviews of this episode will be less scathing.

Was it just me but I didn't think the second episode was as good as the first..

I will definitley still keep watching though

LOVING this! Freaky how some stuff is SO similar to uni as well .... like the professor who tries to be your friend / the cock who wants to f*** everything / the girl who try's too hard to fit in. Love it!
Thought the second episode was really good, the slightly scary girl getting mixed up between the two guys was really very funny.

Anyone still watch this?! I'm hooked! It's SO funny in some places ... Vod in particular is amazing and my favourite character by a mile. Love Oregon and Kingsley too ... cannot STAND Josie however, she's such a hypocrite!

The most recent episode was probably the best, perfect mix of humor and emotional stuff. Pleased to hear it's been picked up for a 2nd series too! :D

i think this is absolutly GASH don't rate this program at all BOOO!

:arrr:

Is nobody watching the second series of this? Between this and the return of Friday Night Dinner, C4 comedy is the TITS right now.

This has really grown into a wonderful show, utterly ridiculous one minute, and really quite warming the next. Despite their wildly different personas, the core six really have gelled and bounce off each other brilliantly, and Josie aside (Sabine was right on point with her "I think you are not a nice person" takedown), you can actually root for them all despite the questionable things they may do. Vod unleasing her own BP-style oil spill genuinely had me howling.

I've been casually watching whenever I see it's on, I like it more than I thought I would.

Yep, I loved the first series, and this has been equally as good.

It's quite scary how much we think alike sometimes, because I have also been watching and enjoying both this and Friday Night Dinner at the moment. It is great to see Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap working as well together as they did in Green Wing!

Although having said this Simon Bird seems to be very much reprising his role as Will McKenzie (complete with the 'brilliant' catchphrase) and Joe Thomas likewise reprising Simon Cooper.
