I think I prefer the original version of Memory of You - I know Kimberley is generally accepted as the worst vocalist, but, whether it's down to computers or not, there's a lovely tone to her vocals on it, and she really sells the melancholy ordinariness of the lyrics - but whereas I could never have imagined that being a Girls Aloud single, Nicola's version sounds like something that really might've done well on radio. It would definitely be a better single than Yo Yo!

But nevermind. It's nice to have another version and revisit such a superb song. :D

Did Nicola write Memory Of You? i always assumed it was Kim due to her having the most vocals on it, either way I like Nicolas solo version but i think i like it with group vocals a little more, i think Kim's vocals suited the song a little better.

I think it was credited to all 5 of them

I swear I can still hear Cheryl throughout  It doesn't fit with Cinderella's Eyes at all though, so I'm glad it wasn't included there.

OMG NICOLA SOLO MEMORY OF YOU <3

Memory of You is probably my 2nd favourite GA song (Singapore being my favourite) so this really is a treat!! :)

Anyone have any idea of how this sold this week then. Not even Top 100, badtimes.

Surprised she hasn't been dropped yet tbh. I wonder if she'll get to do a 2nd album.

Shame it couldnt even make the top 100, its crazy that girls aloud as a group have had so much success yet the ones who have released solo material (Cheryl aside) have had almost no support or success whatsoever. You'd think all those years of being apart of one of the biggest girl bands in Britain they'd manage to garner some interest. I really wonder how Cheryl would have done if she wasn't a judge on x-factor.

Hard to say, probably still have had the best success, FFTL would have challenged top 3, Promise This would have struggled without The X Factor.

Not as bad as I expected, considering I don't think it ever entered the Top 200 on the iTunes songs chart. :P
It was 600 and something at the highest I saw it, so in a way 111 is quite impressive! Well, not really, obviously it's disappointing but you know what I mean :P
I saw it in the Top 400 (with the album version in the Top 700/800), but I don't think it got any higher.
Yeah, kind of like how 'Lucky Day' managed to make the top 40 despite briefly peaking in the 60s on iTunes and slumping down.
