October 2, 201114 yr Amazing #1. :D It sounds so incredulous. Haters, just revel the crazyness and don't take it seriously, because that's the only way you are ever going to like this song! ^_^ The UK radio edit is DREADFUL though. Really badly edited. Still, happy it's number 1
October 2, 201114 yr The UK radio edit is DREADFUL though. Really badly edited. Still, happy it's number 1 I'll agree on that. The other edits I've heard are FAR better. Also, I've just found out that Sak Noel has the same real first name as me.. (and his stage name makes so much sense now) :D

October 2, 201114 yr What is it? His full name is Isaac Mahmood Noell (given that's the credit on Loca People, and the Wiki link takes you back to Sak Noel). I don't use Sak myself, I tend to use 'Iz', (hence my own name on here, because it's pronounced the same), but having seen his full name, I can recognise it as a nickname.
October 2, 201114 yr The first ever No. 2, "You Belong To Me" by Jo Stafford had eight weeks at number 2 (7 consecutive) before hitting the top; You Belong To Me - (19 Weeks) 15/11/1952 -2-5-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-{1}-2-5-5-6-9-11-8-11-12 Thanks for that fchd.....The strange chart runs of the 1950's!! Lol
October 2, 201114 yr When will we get two or more weekers at number 1 again? New ones every single week is getting so frustrating. Edited October 2, 201114 yr by zenon
October 2, 201114 yr Really? Everybody I know likes it! Rarely, if ever, does everybody in my family appreciate the same song but my sister (Maroon 5 fan) loves it, I love it (Xtina fan) and my Mum loves it despite traditionally having hated both acts, Xtina especially! There must be something about it, it has a lot of get up and dance appeal but without being a dance song or club record, it's very universal I think. Yeah really... I'm clearly wrong as it's obviously very popular but I just cringe every time I hear it, it's just so tacky and it sounds really dated to me. I just really don't see the appeal - conversely to you, I don't know anyone who likes it (or admits to it anyway!)
October 2, 201114 yr When will we get two or more weekers at number 1 again? New ones every single week is getting so frustrating. Not until Christmas I expect and maybe even longer if the X Factor winner is crap. Then again I've no idea what's released past mid-November.
October 2, 201114 yr 36 (from 42) Kasabian - Days Are Forgotten [P] http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31Xs2rrkxkL._AA115_.jpg Chart Run: 28-42-36 [3 wks] Release date: 12-09-2011 Format: SS [7" only] Label: Sony Music Formed in Leicester, England, in the late 1990s, dance-rock quartet Kasabian hit big with their self-titled debut in 2004. Bearing the marked influence of "baggy" superstars the Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays, Kasabian set themselves apart from many of their neo-post-punk contemporaries with a potent blend of dancefloor rhythms, electronics, and rock 'n' roll swagger. In 2006 they released their second album, EMPIRE, which revealed a more straightforward, classic rock sound. - HMV Video here: pBsQVP-Olmw Chart history (Year peak title): 2004 19 Club Foot 2004 10 LSF 2004 17 Processed Beats 2005 08 Cutt Off 2005 21 Club Foot{2005} 2006 09 Empire 2006 17 Shoot The Runner 2007 22 Me Plus One 2009 03 Fire 2009 32 Underdog 2009 30 Where Did All The Love Go? 2011 28 Days Are Forgotten Album Discussion Here How did Kasabian climb back up?

October 2, 201114 yr I agree with people saying 'Loca People' hates need to embrace how stupid it is, and they'll learn to love it. I personally adore it because of its novelty. Johnny, Loca People Is Number oneeeeeeeee WHAT THE f***.
October 2, 201114 yr I don't think people 'need' to do anything. If they don't like the song, they don't like the song and it's an opinion they're entitled to. Some may say some of you 'need' to get over that fact.

October 2, 201114 yr (1) Loca People-Sak Noel One of the better dance tunes this year. Hopefully this well end the string of one week stays at #1 but you never know about Maroon 5.
October 2, 201114 yr I fully agree with Dandy* about MLJ, right down to not knowing anyone who likes it. My sister is a big fan of Maroon 5 and she hates 'Moves Like Jagger' just as much as me. So does my dad. Each to their own I suppose.
