I imagine Jade not making it through was the producers' call rather than Kelly's.

But she would be so popular among the viewers! :o

Yes exactly! Jade is a good singer, but a pop star? No. Not the sort SyCo are looking for. The problem is she's Scottish. Any half decent Scottish singer will do really well, because the whole of Scotland will support them because they're Scottish. The year Leon Jackson won was a prime example. He was f***ing awful, yet he won cos he was Scottish. It's the same with Britain's Got Talent. Jai McDowell won, which I guess was a massive shock to the producers. It took him ages to get a record deal, yet usually the winners are snapped up as soon as the show's gone off air.

I've heard rumours that GOD herself was in Fife today. FIFE.

This happens to be the county Jade lives in....

So have I. If true then the 'twist' they're talking about is hardly something to big up as 'something that's never been done in X-Factor history' as the producers have done.

I do actually like the live parts of this show - its where X-F and memories of Peter Kay's spoof merge into one. Can you imagine Louis' glee if he'd have had some dwarfs to make a selection from? Or even better - one-legged dwarfs!

WHAT A TWIST! :coffee:

Yeah, loads of people have said 'seen the X Factor van in Fife' - yet there's no photographic proof. Not convinced.
Surely that isn't the twist, maybe her and Jade are now best friends or something? Yeah right. But tbh that wouldn't be a shock if it was the twist, they aren't usually too original...

They so wouldn't be that obvious.

I've since also heard that Jade's best friend made the entire thing up.

I agree! It was probably a TV licence detector van and imaginations got carried away with!

This.

They're hardly going to roll up in a massive red van with the X on the side and parade Kelly out. If the twist IS true, they'd drive her up in a stereotypical black car, she'd get out all covered up and go in to Jade, so people would assume it's just a friend visiting, not Kelly Rowland.

And come out to find said black car propped up on four piles of bricks!

Very likely in that part of Fife. It'd also be stripped out and on fire...

I honestly think it will be swapping the judges and catogeries. At the end of Sunday's show, after they said the big twist, they showed footage of all the judges saying 'I am so glad I have my catogery' and Gary even saying 'All the other judges will wish they had the boys'. Hint?

Hope not, Thats very disappointing for a 'Big Twist', Then again this is the x-factor anything is a Big Twist too them!

Even with a driver inside? :D

Of course not, they;d have been mugged and lying on the pavement stabbed and bleeding.

Swopping the judges categories would never happen. They would never give Louis a good group that he would ruin and turn into freak acts. I am sure it is more wildcards. Jade was good but she looked a hot mess at judges houses all weekend it was just shocking, maybe someone had stolen her suitcase at Fife airport.

You know Fife doesn't actually have an airport right? Glenrothes has an 'airport' in that it has an airstrip you can learn to fly at. She'd leave from Edinburgh or Glasgow. The former you could easily smuggle 50kgs of crack into and the latter she'd probably have had it nicked.

I honestly cannot see this 'big twist' being anything to do with having MORE contestants, like the wildcard theories and the Cheryl/Simon/Uncle Bulgaria/whatever having a special category of axed contestants. Adding 20 to the live shows would just be too much surely and nearly impossible in the timeslot it has.

Ditto any theory re JUST bringing back Jade or any other single contestant would be unfair to boost one category to 5?

Am I making this up in my head, or did last year's 'BIG! TWIST!' teaser show a mystery silhouette and people were speculating it was Nicole? I think. Surely if it was anything to do with addition, more contestants, more judges (5th judge to avoid deadlock) then they might have use something like that again.

I think it's far more likely to do with eliminations myself - Perhaps losing one from each category, or if they wanted to be REALLY harsh, eliminating someone before the show even started but I think that's too cruel. Whatever it is it's sure to be an anti climax, and nowhere near as inventive or interesting as some of the theories mooted!

The judges swap thing is quite interesting but can't see that happening, and aren't people just basing that theory on Gary saying he didn't get the category he wanted in an interview some time ago, from what I can make out? Surely he might have just said that at the time to throw people off guessing what category he had or is this a more recent interview?
