Maroon 5 now down to 48%. That might *just* be enough if they don't gain back too much over the weekend.

The last few pages have been such a READ  For the record I think Fix You is 100x better than RTW(G), that's not because I'm a Coldplay fan I just like the song, would listen if it came on the radio. RTW on the otherhand is the worst song of the year, IMO. I love Pon De Floor however.

Moving on :kink: I am amazed at Rihanna's sucess  I'd love a #1 SMASH, this is her only chance as we've got boring releases from Matt Cardle, The Wanted and Cher Lloyd soon, all of which are guarranteed for #1. :manson:

I also can't believe LMFAO are doing this well, I thought after CS flopped they were done with - but I guess SAIKI is doing well because 1) not a 2nd rate PRA rip-off. 2) has a hit video with (shock horror) nudity. 3) anything Natalia Kills touches turns to flop (being serious here lol)

Am not keen on Female Advert Cover Song #283, never liked the original of WYWG tbh but I'm sure it'll start to drop soon after it peaks at 11

I just purchased 'Radioactive', I so BADLY want this to succeed. :(

It is a real shame it's not going T10. Even if it charted at 11 I'd be happy, I just think 'Hollywood' was overated on this site and 'Radioactive' is her best song to date

Wow, so there clearly was demand for Rihanna! Whoever it was at Island records that released it this week (rather than 14 November  ) is clearly reading this board. :D I hope she gets a couple of weeks at the top and stops load of held back releases to give a big fingers up to UK record companies.

+1

Same, I was awaiting this week because I thought 'ooh, Marina and Florence both top 10! Good times!' And now they're not even top 20 :( Especially Florence I'm annoyed at, my fave song atm :(

Till I Collapse by Eminem at #396! Anybody know why an album track from 10 years ago is in the chart? Now THIS is a song that should've been released as a single! Is it 59p?

Are Kelly Rowland's new songs on iTunes? I remember seeing them before, but I'm hearing Down for Whatever and Lay it On Me both a lot on the radio now, but neither are in the top 1000! :o Not looking good.

It's so strange how Florence hasn't made the top 10 really. I can't quite understand why.

On Sean Paul, I hope his song does really well. It's very, very good. I'm sure it'll go top 10. It's been smashing all over Europe.

Ryan Tedder wrote the original song ('Not to Love You') and it is FAR better:

(Sorry but I have to add that it was planned to go on Leona's new album :P)

I heard it before, but it sounds the same to me.

They've been made album only to maximise sales.

Oh. So they're holding back post-album singles now aswell? :drama:

It was released in the US and got added to UK iTunes like most albums released in the US before the UK are; it's being released here during the X Factor live shows with a revised, more European-accustomed, tracklist.

Thanks. I never knew they did that (adding albums to UK iTunes automatically when released in the US)! :o

It's a shame the tracks can't be cherrypicked. I'm sure both those songs would be top 200 atm.

And I assume a "European-accustomed" tracklist means the album will be full of songs like Beautiful People, Wet, On the Floor, S&M, etc. We've heard it all before now.

Well it's been in production since before any of those were released, but yes, the lead single for the UK is an 'On the Floor' soundalike :P
Maroon 5 down to 47.5% now.

Will you now concede defeat and admit Rihanna will get no.1?

I'm going to take pride in the fact I said this would happen before they announced the new release date :P

I remember you saying that. I just thought to myself "Yeah, that'd be quite "funny"", but it actually is happening now! :o
