Also 2Shoes are singing

Something Kinda Ooh by Girls Aloud!

Probably in my top 5 by the act, I doubt it will have an effect as, like many of the rumours, it was big enough at first. Plus 2Shoes aren't one of the favourites. I think a realtively unknown song would need to be sung by Amelia, Janet or maybe Frankie to have a big effect.

I LOVE that song aswell. Although I agree that it wouldn't have an effect. It's another song that everybody in the country (who doesn't live under a rock) knows, and it's also the sort of song that doesn't gets boosts from X Factor anyway. The songs that usually do are pop/rock ballads, which that certainly isn't.

What? Sak Noel was always going to be frontloaded, and will suffer from the weekend effect.

But it's been overtaken by ONE DIRECTION...

I have to say although I don't mind the track, they were on Radio 1 yesterday and I HATE their personalities so I'm with you on this one.

One Direction had to overtake Sak Noel at some point - the Teen Awards tomorrow are basically all about them. Wonder if we'll see Cher Lloyd, Jason Derulo and Pixie Lott climb with their respective singles for next week.

Rihanna - 100%

Maroon 5 - 55.3% (combined)

I still think We Found Love will edge it, but it's going to be a bloody close one!! I might actually listen to the chart for the first time in ages tomorrow.

Remember that time when JLS were #1 on iTunes 17 days after release?

One Direction were as low as #6 earlier aswell iirc.

I thought Sak Noel can increase during the weekend. People go clubbing, hear the song and download it.

The Risk are definitely performing

She Said by Plan B

and Misha is apparently singing a song by

Adele

- just what we need!

Well, I hope that's true! It probably sold too much already / is too recent to make too big a splash but it's the right sort of song to rechart after being used on the X Factor.

Ooh that does fit in the clue Misha gave for her song, could very well be true.

I thought we've have the songlist by now actually...

I'm glad we don't. I like being surprised. When I was watching the 2008 semi-final and Alexandra suddenly came on with 'Don't Stop the Music', I nearly wet myself! :D

Oh for fuck's sake, I saw that coming a mile off. Maroon 5 will definitely be #1 this week then -_- -_- -_-
so with

Moves Like Jagger being performed, looks like they have a good chance of number 1

praying for

Fix You

to make it back into the top 40

X Factor songlist - Marcus has put a spanner in the works! And Craig and Frankie are going to put their songs back in the top 5 I expect

Hoorah :cheer: #team

Maroon5

Not sure how much of an effect the performing of recent songs will have on their fortunes in the charts. Obviously it will have some effect but didn't the first live show last year have some current hits too, which I don't remember being boosted much (Barbra Streisand definitely being one for example).

Especially since Marcus is one of the more talented acts left. I can pray but I still think it'll be Rihanna because, well, it's Rihanna
