A new foreign exchange student, Rory Flanagan (guest star Damian McGinty), enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany S. Pierce who thinks he's a leprechaun. Meanwhile, Mercedes (Amber Riley) attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran's (guest star Idina Menzel) newly formed Glee club and Sue's congressional campaign heats up on the "Pot of Gold" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, Nov. 1 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Not keen on Damian's songs, only love Last Friday Night this time and even that could be better.

Love Rory. Though if you have an Irish accent, I'm automatically yours really. He's far too cute.

 

Fully approving of Brittana having joined Mercedes. If Mike's abs could hobble over too then New Directions could just cease to exist. 'Last Friday Night' performance made them look a bit like a Christian relief group trying to look edgy. I've gone back to full on hating both Quinn and Finn. The former was much more interesting in the 1.5 episodes where she had The Skanks, and the latter is still a self-righteous knob.

 

Puck/Shelby storyline is kinda predictable but bearable enough.

Rory was great. Not only was he cute with an Irish accent but I really enjoyed his story too.

 

What has happened to Sugar though? Suddenly gone from having 'aspergers' to not even seeming to care too much that she was hardly part of the Candyman performance.

 

I have to agree on the Quinn and Finn front. Quinn trying to set up Shelby is a step too far and Finn just doesn't seem as likeable anymore.

 

Santana continued to be fabulous, I thought this episode had a bit more humour which I think Rory helped to bring with his story.

The Candyman perf was LIFE.

Rory was annoying didnt really like him too much but I'll leave it as he may improve in later eps.

Candyman was the only performance I liked in the ep

 

Glad the show is back though :D

I'm getting tired of all the drama with the Glee members leaving and returning and leaving again. :(

So US Pace actually sucks! :nocheer: They should have held back for us, come to think about it. Far too long a breaks in between episodes and I don't think the UK take kindly to this sort of thing as we're not actually that used to it. :(
