Lana is #1 on the albums though. Why are Coldplay still climbing, they're at #12. Great song, it's just annoying that it doesn't count for the charts. I hope Reggie plays a bit of it ahead of Fix You if that charts today.

Go on Lana!!! :w00t:

Is 'Video Games' still #1 in the Albums chart with the EP? I fully expect The Wanted to be #1 next Sunday and their X Factor performance tonight will more than ensure that. Kelly Clarkson potentially #2 next week with the potential to climb to #1 the following week? Then there's Lana Del Rey who I hope can at least make the top 5.

I noticed earlier this morning it was Kelly Clarkson (#33), The Wanted (#64) and Lana Del Rey (#179) so 'Video Games' has done well to shoot up to the top 30. Also reckon if 'Video Games' does go top 5 officially next week, it could do a 'The A Team' or 'Moves Like Jagger' and stay high up the charts for a while as more people discover the song hence continued sales over several weeks - probably one of those tracks that sells well without ever topping the UK charts (wishful thinking). Whereas 'Lightning' will clearly go straight to #1 and most likely be out of the top 40 within 10-12 weeks.

Coldplay performed Paradise on Jonathan Ross.

I agree 'Video Games' could be a new 'The A Team', going top 3 on Radio 1 support then hanging around in the top 10 for ages as other radio stations start to pick it up and more people discover it.

:( I'm very afraid that The Wanted will get No.1 once they perform on x factor (even though they openly slagged off the show) they are on there way to a guaranteed top.4, this song is actually the definition of crap, lyrically their songs could have been written by a 6 year old and their tunes are unoriginal

It will be interesting to see how Lightning holds up - GYC was massive for them and went against their norm of bombing down after their peak.

I can see Lightning continuining the bomb trend - its nots the strongest of songs

7. Lightning - The Wanted

12. Mr. Know It All (Radio Edit) - Kelly Clarkson

31. Video Games - Lana Del Rey

98. Just In Love - Joe Jonas

189. Got 2 Luv U (feat. Alexis Jordan) - Sean Paul

256. Second Last Chance - The Overtones

Kelly is doing so well :o

The Wanted may even be #1 before X Factor, there isnt tooo much catching up to do.

I expect Sean Paul & Alexis to be a slow climber and climb quite well all day..

Hooray for Mr Know It All, such an addictive track

Not really keen on Lightning at all, but fully expecting number 1 and a car crash of an X Factor performance, last year vocally wasn't great, and unless I'm mistaken doesn't the tall, good looking model one (Shiva?) Have some solo vocals on this? Because if so, oh dear.

YEY for Kelly. Just hope it doesn't do what the last era does with the first single doing brilliantly and the 2nd being a complete flop

Kelly top 10 :D

 216. Blue Jeans - Lana Del Rey

 251. Second Last Chance - The Overtones

VG not doing as well as I expected yet but then again, GCH had a slow start last week and still ended up going to #2 on iTunes. Completely different genre and when that happens it is normally with hip-hop songs but nonetheless.

Lightning is also not climbing anywhere near as quickly as I expected but I still think it could get to #1 before XF. It'll be #1 after XF anyway. :P

 72. The Scientist - Coldplay

That's a bit better than when it was stalling in the 90s last night :D

I'm pleased for Kelly. Not a huge fan of the song, I must admit, I prefer some of her other songs, but she hasn't sold out like most of the other female pop stars have, so I have a lot of respect for her and I hope she does well. Beyonce is also one of the few who has stayed true to her music.

She hasn't 'sold out'? She came from American Idol, how can she 'sell out' any further than that? If by that you mean she isn't doing dance music, I think MKIA sounding like a Bruno Mars song can just as easily be described as 'selling out'.

Bréters gon' bréte.

I don't even think 'selling out' is a bad thing but I don't agree that Kelly hasn't 'sold out'.

"Mr Know It All" is just a total REHASH of "Just the Way You Are" but the gays forget this because it was a man who sung it originally and they were not much fussed.

Eric who do you speak to more on a DAILY BASIS, your mother or Bré?
