Clever to put "Power" to 59p, let's see how far it can climb!

Amazing for Power, the advert it's in is quite long too, it's not just a little clip. It's a shame it's my least favourite of the three (four) singles from MBDTF, but all four are excellent, it's an incredible album, the first rap album I've ever liked from start to finish.

Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' set to make a solid recovery into the T40 this week then - and Beyonce's 'Best Thing I Never Had' will no doubt stick around for another week or two.

 

With 'Power' only spending a single week in the T40 originally - I definitely think another week (at least) is deserving - I'd expected it to do so well, but even the incredible album (best of 2010 by a mile) only peaked at #16. Hopefully it can re-peak!

 

I was under the impression that McElderry had peaked at #4 with 'Ambitions' - so apologies if the comment seemed out-of-place. I'm hoping Cardle can peak higher than McElderry then, or at least get the number-one album next week.

Maybe Without You by David Guetta can finally get top 10 on iTunes this week. There's LOADS of songs above it which are falling fast atm.

 

Is there? I wouldn't particularly say any of them are falling quickly except maybe Sak Noel now he's lost his top 10 effect. Matt Cardle isn't even falling very much, Charlene is just increasing quickly because she's only just gained the top 10 effect.

 

Gym Class Heroes now up to 73.1%, if they keep increasing #1 could still be on the cards for them. Maroon 5 have also gained a bit since I last posted their pop bars (to 65.2%) but it's probably safe to say they'll stay behind Rihanna forever now. Well, maybe they'll overtake when both are long gone from the chart :lol:

'She Will Be Loved' up to #34 :puke: I'm hoping the fact it's essentially a Tuesday release stops it from making the top 40, much like The Calling the last time they were reduced (although I think they will do it this time since both versions are reduced and they're selling more than normal anyway due to the Twinings ad)

 

But if it does make the official top 40, it'll give MLJ the distinctions of not only not being the worst song in the top 40, but also not being the worst Maroon 5 song in the top 40 :lol:

Ah, the fake 'Earthquake' is closing the gap on the fake 'Read All About It' as well :D Hopefully the battle won't be so much of a foregone conclusion after all.

 

Jase, there's definitely at least one fake version of 'Danza Kuduro' in the chart as well, because there's one in the top 300 right now and I've seen another one around recently :P

 

I hope they release the original version of 'Danza Kuduro' here as well as the Pitbull version, the original is the only one getting airplay and video play as far as I can tell.

'Power' up to #30, 'Fix You' down to #31. Simultaneously happy and sad. (More happy though because I didn't expect FY to still be this high at this point, it'll now be overtaken by The Calling and Maroon 5 but hopefully it'll still be in the top 35 at the end of tomorrow)

 

'Someone Like You' is about to fall out of the top 40 again, it's currently #39 but Katy & Missy are at #40 and David/Taio/Ludacris are at #41. I'm sure it'll manage a 36th week in the official top 40 this week. Could be its last though? (Until the iTunes gift card boost and the BRITs boost of course - and there's always a chance it'll be performed on XF again :lol:)
