I think they're falling now, or if they are still gaining they're doing it very slowly. It's too late in the week for #1 anyway.

 

I actually want it to stay at #3 for a couple of reasons - firstly that it'll be hilarious if MLJ is #2 AGAIN and secondly because if it gets to #2 it'll be their highest peaking single which would be completely undeserved, I do like it but 'Cupid's Chokehold / Breakfast In America', 'Clothes Off!!' and 'Cookie Jar' are all a lot better.

 

I wouldn't mind it being #2 too much though, because then Maroon 5 won't be top 2.

A top 3 placing isn't bad at all - what was bad was when they barely made the top 20 on Sunday which will cost their end of week position quite a bit. I still think they will make #2 officially but I would be surprised if they stayed #3 (which is still a good showing).

A remix of Down For Whatever? I've heard Down For Whatever on Capital a few times, and it was really boring, but maybe that was the original, and the remix will be a lot better. Here's hoping.

 

If it was the remix I heard on Capital, then that's dreadful, and I shudder to imagine what the original must've sounded like! :o :blink:

 

Lay It On Me is SO much better. :( It's a real shame it's not being released. It'd easily be the new What's My Name?/Right There.

It's mostly because of the 59p stuff that's all overtaken it - The Calling, Maroon 5, Katy & Missy, David/Taio/Ludacris, Nirvana, Kanye & Dwele, Evanescence. Not surprising it's fallen a bit with so many songs going ahead of it. Gym Class Heroes, Matt Cardle and Wolfgang Gartner as well. So it's been overtaken by 10+ songs since Sunday, it's not surprising it's fallen quite a bit.
