Oh come ON Coldplay, if you don't even go top 100 then that was a bit of a waste of a performance.

Coldplay were on Jools Holland today apparently - did they perform anything? 'Paradise' is up to #19 and 'Fix You' is back up a few to #60 but I don't know if these movements have anything to do with JH.

(By the way, I'm doing today's top 100 update now, sorry for the delay)

He was truly truly awful. Gary Barlow has selective deafness.

He wasn't even that good

Id say it was more due to the fact that the two songs he has sung are both (relatively) new and still popular/in the charts...

Yeah thats true I guess, both have already done well & are relatively new, doesnt take away from the fact though that he clearly effects a lot of people and in result they download the song he performs. I wasnt too fussed with his performance tonight. As Liam said though definitely a top 4 placing. I think its so easy to predict this year: Craig, Janet, The Risk, Misha B & Sophie top 5. (Frankie 6th?)

So The Wanted being released today? And X Factor same day, #1 it is then.

Cant see Katy's song doing much as its not hyped in slightest, old, no video, virtually no radio play. Top 40 at most? Maybe under-estimating Katy Perry Power.

Coldplay were on Jonathan Ross. Paradise  #16 :D

Glad Without You is #10

would love to have seen paradises chart run if it had been elligible, pretty sure itll go top 20 when the albums out anyways.....does anyone know if theres a video planned soon for it...they had the video for the last single nearly at the same time as the premiere on radio....it could blster its top 20 position with it.

sorry for asking so late but who is this charlene soria who is top 10 with the calling song?

I wish Coldplay were top 10 with this masterpiece but whatever... it's not even chart until next week, something about 100K of selling that goes to waste,

it's handling well after 1 month + and without nothing (except today) and it's in the top 20.

They filmed it last week... so maybe in a week or two.

They are all pretty bad but the hype around Janet bemuses me. She just talks and has no real voice.

Does anyone know what the hell that China Anne McClain song is and why it's selling here? She seems to be some Disney 13-year-old

Great to see Paradise on the up again, even if it is meaningless since the song STILL can't chart on today's chart or next week's  It's holding up incredibly well so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it can still be in the top 20 come the time of the album's release. Hopefully the first-week sales for Mylo Xyloto will be MONSTROUS - since it has the advantage of a few more days of sales it would be good if it could come close to or even beat the first 'week' sales of VLVODAAHF despite the massively declined album sales climate.

#96 NEW China Anne McClain - Calling All The Monsters (fairly new single release increasing airplay?)

 Wth is this doing in the top 100 on iTunes? It's from a new Disney TV series/movie (not sure which) - the girl's like 12 I think. I'm, guessing said TV show/movie was shown on Disney today/yesterday and thus it's climbed?

EDIT: Ah, Bre just acknowlodged the fact that she's 13 :P Plus I have discovered it is from a new Disney sitcom 'A.N.T. Farm'. I'm guessing it premiered and somehow Calling All The Monsters has managed to go top 100.

I have a huge fear that a major earthquake is about to happen, which will mean that Labrinth's single won't be played. I mean, it happened with Little Boots...

I am furious, Frankie Cocozza is ruining my favorite songs on the Xfactor, I promise you if he ever performed Higher I would personally kill him.

05. Charlene Soraia - Wherever You Will Go

13. Matt Cardle - Run For Your Life

14. Coldplay - Paradise ?

18. Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (Starting to drop fast now)

19. Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had

22. The Calling - Wherever You Will Go (100% Should Be Top 40 tomorrow) #82 & #92 Also (Combined #12 on iTunes :cheer:)

Frankie killed the BEST song of the last 20 years. he need to die :(

My favourite ever song from my favourite ever band completely destroyed!! On the positive its good to see it back in the top 100

If you don't like Frankie's version (personally I didn't think it was THAT bad, although it wasn't that good either), just ignore it and enjoy the boost it's giving to the original's sales :P Now up to #91. Probably won't make the top 100 next Sunday at this rate :(

Russian Roulette up to #66. With Or Without You only #142, really surprised how little it's climbed after the performance!

Wow, three versions of The Calling's Wherever You Will Go in the top 100 (plus the Charlene version in the top 5) :o Hopefully the original version will be back in the top 15/20 next week :D

Will Someone Like You remain in the top 40 in today's chart (for a 37th week)? It was close to dropping out in the mids but has returned to the iTunes top 40 with the weekend effect so I think it could sneak in at 39 or 40. Will probably drop out again next week but anything could happen.

38. Mr. Know It All - Kelly Clarkson

119. Lightning - The Wanted

No sign of Lana Del Rey or Sean Paul/Alexis Jordan as yet.

:ne: 38. Mr. Know It All (Radio Edit) - Kelly Clarkson

:ne: 119. Lightning - The Wanted

:ne: 177. Just In Love - Joe Jonas

Obviously Kelly just going straight into the top 40 because it was a single pre-order rather than an EP. As usual, nothing to read too much into. Same with Joe although his debut is significantly lower. The Wanted's debut is far more impressive as it's from an EP, I'm still certain it'll be #1, Olly had a similar 1am debut and sold over 100k in his first week, I can see The Wanted doing the same. Lana and Sean not top 300 yet.

Lana Del Rey straight in at #1 on iTunes albums (obviously), The Wanted #3, Laidback Luke/Example remixes EP #28, Nero remixes EP #35.

Edited by Bré

Impressive start for Kelly! :)
Was 'Got 2 Luv U' not available for pre-order (or has it not been released)? Seems odd it doesn't seem to be in either chart yet. Unless it just wasn't very popular at all.

Don't think it's been on pre-order but it is avaliable to buy on iTunes but it only comes up as no.16 in the list when you type in "Got 2 Luv U", but then their's a fake version at 168 so who knos :)
